It doesn’t appear to be any change in predators spamming stick slash I mean the meta with the combistick And berserker predated is still a thing and didn’t seem to be fixed in the last update

Zerker is still kinda borderline. Honestly still think he needs another look, but yeah, if your team is staying together and even halfway competent they should be able to push him back. He’s tough but beatable. I’ve seen foolish players jump in the middle of a fireteam, right in the kill zone and go down in seconds from the crossfire.
Don’t forget you can still parry (still needs higher stamina cost) and if your team is nearby, a single parry can make the difference between life and death.
I just played a match with a really excellent Hunter. She was super patient, really pushed us. Keep picking away at every mistake. Got in, got a kill, got the fuck out. Really something. She even took a few risks that we punished but she recovered. Really fun match. We kept her at bay barely by working as a team. She won in the end with an exfil combistick rush, but only because we were down a player and one of our guys ran off to do who knows what. If he’d have been there or if I hadn’t screwed up my parrys we probably would have made it out.

Lol okay we got all of us to spawn in after the reinforcement mission then predator shows up shortly after everyone was in and spammed the spear like crazy downs all of us after we all unloaded into him but okay he was really skilled there not like he had to aim at all with the stick reaching 6 ft away and he downs u in like 3 hits I also parried him and we still lost the 4v1

Lol well then yall made some mistakes. Either yall was some terrible shots or yall was to far apart. Either way yall made mistakes. Stop blaming the Predator for your mistakes. I’ve seen plenty of Berserkers get wrecked.

Ah must have been a noob berserker and possibly not using the stick which tbh is the only weapon beside the bow that is good rn
Tbh I’ve only killed a berserker once and thats cuz he was anoob doing long kill animation while we were all there
It’s hard to tell sometimes, but your fireteam probably wasn’t hitting. There have been multiple occasions where I’m pissed because I was sure the Pred should have been toast but then I think back and if I’m honest I realize I didn’t even hit all of MY shots, so chances were good, neither did my team.
I promise. I played a Berserker the other day to try him out. Downed two with slam, circled around and attacked the 3rd while she was trying to revive. She was good and parried me. But their 4th was nowhere nearby and she had to solo me, which wasn’t happening (and it shouldn’t) so I put her down only taking maybe 10% damage. When the 4th finally showed up he had the drop on me (didn’t see him coming around the corner) and he unloaded at medium range with the heavy machine gun. I still killed him, but barely. If he had parried once and then finished emptying the magazine he’d probably have put me down.
If their 4th had been there, I would have had to retreat or suffer major damage/2nd wind. I wouldn’t have been able to claim either of the downs or engage the 3rd in melee. I could have gotten a claim but would have paid for it in blood. Moral is, even in a 2v1, teamwork prevails.
I still agree the Berzerker can get toned down a touch. But it’s not as bad as you think.

Yeah I mean I’ve played with a friend a lot of the matches and still don’t manage to kill him it takes the entire squad of friends to really get him off of you not just randoms cuz a lot of time random fireteam members just do idk what
PARRY
For all who complain about berserker and combi. As soon as you unlock the Shotgun CS-12 level 8 with EXTENDED MAGS no one berserker can beat you in a close range fight. They didn’t nerf shotgun damage and it has 20 bullets that can be fired very fast. Just improve aim and use this and all berserker are fucked. Immagine having 2 or 3 shooting on him with this weapon at the same time when he is rushing on you…it’s gg easy.
dude trust me that attack speed got hit BIG time i dont know about the dmg but im sure it did too
just parry it, u cant chose how good ur team are at parrying. if you are the one that gets good at that you can turn the tide. but if everyone cant parry and has been downed instantly then there isnt much you can do. sometimes you lose and its not your fault.
Combi has been nerfed into oblivion already it doesnt need any more nerfs. People need to learn how to deal with that tactic. there are lots who can, and lots who cant or havnt learned how yet. once you do youll be laughing that you thought it was so OP
and no, i dont use the combi, so i dont care. i get killed by it a lot because i cant parry. but thats on ME… iv seen guys parry it 3 times i na row and decimate the zerker with their fireteam supporting with snipers and grenades etc…

It’s funny because if you look elsewhere, people are SCREAMING that the Pred is still too weak. I think the Zerg could come back slightly in terms of damage resist, and maybe the tiniest bit forward with damage dealt. He should be dangerous up close, but still vulnerable enough that players shouldn’t be rewarded for bad play.
Really? I found the CS-12 to be kinda garbage. Maybe I’ll give it another try. I’d love it to be good. Is there a trick to using it?
Yeah, I still see a lot of players don’t even try. Maybe they still don’t know about it? Lol
I think its one of those shotguns where you dont wanna fire unless you are literally touching tips with pred for max damage
