So with everyone saying that the combi-stick got shadow nerfed, imagine my surprise when my friend got hit with a stick throw, at full health on support, without OWLF Trained or Thick Skin, and got instant downed!
Was this a one off? Or has the stick got some immense hidden power? PS4 btw.

There is a bug going around. Someone even posted a video before the last update. Do me it did 190 HP in damage some patches back. Nothing else hit me and I just had finished healing from a med kit.
The guy that posted a vid had his friend hit in the legs, not even in the head.
Head + body shot might. You said he threw it straight down on him.

So they actually nerfed the damage last patch with a shadow nerf it only did 97 for body shots and 103 for headshots
It might be a bug. I remember something similar happening to another player a few weeks ago. Probably some kind of collision bug with hit detection.
I do think it is and its because the thing can go trough multiple people and needs to calculate each thing it hits and perhaps because of lag or different factors it can hit you twice. For me the predator was above a train (derailed) and threw it don on me, went trough my head and the rest of the body. The guy that posted the vid had his friend hit in both legs.
Not a big deal since it happens very rare.
