On the PlayStation I’m able to stand up or crouch while I’m in the branches and I assumed much like any other time in the game crouching increases my invisibility. But on the PC it won’t allow me to crouch while I’m in the treetops… am I missing something? Is it just not a feature we get or am I just not mapping my settings properly? If it’s not a feature then is there a correction in the background calculations for invisibility?

This game is full of bugs…umm…features!
If you computer can’t crouch (mine can’t make a coffee and I need my coffee), then go back to console or teach your PC how to crouch. Simple as that. Easy fix.

I appreciate the wise and considered advice, my issue is more that I can crouch anywhere but in the branches. And I figured one of the min max trolls would / may have on hand whether or not the game has made an adjustment to not penalized the computer players for being unable to take advantage of the bonus to stealth that crouching gives
I was just having a bit of fun, don’t take it the wrong way.
Personally I never even tried to crouch while standing on the branch but since I’m on PC, I’ll test that and get back at ya.

I’m uniforms but I was attempting to be playfully snide back, my favorite people on here are the people who have a sharp wit and I’m happy for the back and forth but the nerd in me is seeking answers
Well I just tested it in the private match. You can crouch while being on the branch but it will switch to your ranged weapon when you crouch.
Press C once and it will crouch, press it again and it will stand up.
Play around with the keybindings. They’re a mess. Hence your confusion.
Then again. This entire game’s a mess.

My PC settings i can’t crouch on branches while holding the bow/plasma casters or netgun. Not sure if Preds could or if it was there to begin with so i think its a lost cause. The only benifit i could think of would be the zoom in which happens with the bow. Could be useful IMHO.

Have you changed your keybinds? Cause you have to assign crouch for trees. Im pretty sure you that is. Try that and we can work thisnout together

These are the only branch related hotkeys i have.
and only one crouch related hotkey which is assigned C. so i dont know where you get Croach in trees.

Thats where you just fall off the branch. straight down.
