Concensus: Are there NON-Fans fans?

I dread to think this is true, but I’m beginning to think that there is a Marketing PLOY to place the franchise in NON-fanbase group think. As if one to assess the play-ability of a game in a category where people who DID NOT even see the film, were to be able to play the game and have their own expectations.

Eg. a 60 year old game player from a demographic who stopped playing games in their 20s but managed to pick up the game because they have now children in their 20s, them i ntheir 60s, and started to have a general discussion about games. This demographic seemingly, or theoretically, makes up 10 % of the player base. Whether true or not, constitutes a particular legitimacy to aggregate $$$resources to.

Does this exist or not? is this a demographic that makes any sense to appease and give development resource funding to?

I mean don’t get me wrong, I believe there are oldies between the age of 40-50 who are legit the original audience of the film franchise, but there are alot of people on this forum who are legit the starving audience between the age of 20-40 who belong somewhere.

I was 23 when I saw the first film at the theater, and never stopped gaming, once gaming became a thing. Because you know before Atari there was Monopoly, Life, Clue, Risk, cards, etc. You can do the math as to my age, but to answer specifically, I think film franchises, like music, are timeless. 12 and 14 year old kids in my house are listening to Grandmaster Funk, Aerosmith, and The Who, and it wasn’t I who introduced them. Their peers did.
Likewise Star Wars, Aliens, Freddy Kruger, and Predator become new to the new generation even though they’re all older than dirt. Just not older than me. I saw the original Star Wars in the theater as well. 😂

Crees que eres el único con derecho a jugar? Si solo jugaran los fans porque va peor de lo que va el juego

So you’re saying that they’ll cater to the 10% and piss off the 90%, of which more than half left the game? That’s like a legit ‘we don’t want all the success to go to our head’ strategy

yeah… because the 90% are so easily won over they don’t have to do much (straying away from the original source material) …so like they dont count or whateversies.

I sound like a fag.

They did get a lot of munny of off the 90% so maybe the do want to tap into the other demographics. Maybe the can make a ‘PC’ predator to get some cancel culture love. The gauntlet can be a ‘riot’ mode 😂
