Connection issue PS 4 version since new update today 3rd Oct

Installed update approx 5 hrs ago and cannot play any type of match, private or quickplay.
Continuous error message.
Failed to create a game session. Verify you have an internet connection.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with our internet. It’s very quick and reliable. For example Mortal Kombat is working fine along with other games I have that require an internet connection are working fine too.

There’s 2 of us in the same house both with PHG PS4 version both installed on PS 5 consoles. We both have the same error message. We are in the UK
I was doing the daily challenge prior to the update and it was working ok…5+ hrs later…same error message. Not great.
Whenever i see an update for this game, i get a sense of foreboding. 😱

Here too PS4:
In the game’s main menu when clicking on “Private Match” the first connection is NOT made, an error occurs, connection failure.

Yeah, mine was still like it 24 hrs later.
I have a PS 5 so i decided to, against my better judgement i decided to buy the PS 5
version.
However it appears that when you do, and as if by magic it upgrades the PS 4 to the PS 5 graphics etc.
I’m not too happy about that, i paid good money for the PS4 game and i expected it to remain as it was. So both my PS4 version and PS5 version are identical.
The PS 5 version has the same old bugs and glitches.
There has been no effort put into the rectify any of that. Can’t see the point of a bug report section. Comments fall on deaf ears.
For instance today one of the ai captains head was only visible, the rest of him was buried under concrete, and predator was eating a boar that was levitating above ground level and ai jigging on the spot in a building .Still it makes a change from bots mudding up in buildings and ai’s walking through closed doors.
Also i played a few private matches last evening and it froze twice.
I preferred the colours of the graphics of the PS 4 version. I get that the jungle would be misty in places but for me there’s way too much glare, overall it’s too bright it can be a bit blinding. However the landscape perspective is very good.
I’m underwhelmed tbh the PS5 version, disappointing .
I wonder what the Xbox players will think about this game when they experience the countless bugs and glitches along the way that will never get fixed…
Much of the same old same old.
I’m glad i only paid 12.99 for it.

@aaronBLUEeyes well apparently it wasn’t, this is Normal illfonics for you truthfully. We know it’s not fixed because people are still reporting the issue and saying it’s still happening

Hmm 🤔 it was doing it before last patch to me as well—but has been working since latest patch for me.

@aaronBLUEeyes this is something I have noticed, it works for some but not all! Some people will still have issues until they get it fully fixed and working
