Multiple players including myself are having connection time out issues on Steam:
I verified the integrity of the files, one failed to validate and was reacquired but that didn’t fix the issue, others experienced the same thing. This is preventing me from entering a matchmade game entirely.
The matchmaking system is broken and the devs never fixed it. Happens to everyone no matter what platform. Take the Pred wait times and double/triple them to get what it will actually be.
I had that much more strongly happen as my router was about to die on me.
But also the firewall sometimes will ask if you will allow the game to have access to your WiFi. If you pressed no, this could be most likely the cause of the disconnects.
Its been broken since the beta , but they fixed it!, remember!?
Supposedly lol. Still haven’t felt the effects of the fix. Lemme guess, clear save data etc.
Remember, its illegal to make such statements, whether it be accidental or deliberately false ☝🏻

Yup, I"m one of those Steam users and I’ve tried just about everything I can think of or that others have suggested. Still can’t connect to any matches.

They ain’t in a rush unless it involves their DLC scheme/bottom line.
The last time we PC users had similar issues on the Epic Store version. It took them over a fucking month to address the problem.
It’s their shoddy backend. Nothing you can do about it.

Most of us spend it on here instead of the game. For obvious reasons. Many a reason!
People did warn people on steam , but they were labelled as “haters” or “trolls” .
People who bought it at release on console didn’t have hundreds , if not thousands of bug reports to look at before buying the game .
Epic is breaking the law refusing refunds and if steam refuse refunds aswell ? Its also illegal
