Every so often on either a Predator or fireteam match I experience a glitch where certain buttons on my controller such as the square button (primary action button) just won’t work. I used to think it was some weird form of hacking. I know other people have experienced this before and usually it goes away after a little while and I’ve also seen people say how you can fix it yourself in a match. But like this is a legitimate game breaking bug sometimes. It legitimately prevents me from performing certain actions like claiming a fireteam member or even healing. Like I said after a little while it goes away but this is a very frustrating glitch that I wish you guys would address
Controller button glitch
This is a recent match I’ve had where I’ve experienced this issue but definitely not the first. I pretty much just got limited to only melee stacks and plasma blasts for the rest of the match https://youtu.be/9cj66zjX9mQ?si=GpIlvXI0RoB8_LZH
If you have difficulty claiming, just run around them spamming the square button until you can claim. If you have difficulty shooting or jumping, switch to plasma caster and fire a single shot.
Sometimes the smart disc glitches out and you can’t use it anymore for the entire match, however.
I hug guess I’ve never tried to just spam the button till it works. Haven’t really wanted to as that seems like a good way to get lit up by the fireteam. Yeah I’m this match in particular my plasma caster glitched out and I couldn’t fire charged blasts anymore. You can kinda tell in the video I’m getting frustrated with it. Never had that particular one happen before but the square button thing has been recurring. Never had a smart disc glitch either. Had that one for the combistick tho

Yeah it’s not a perfect game. I think some of the users were too ungrateful & mean to the developers, and now they don’t give us many free updates anymore.
Never encountered a bug where you couldn’t fire plasma caster. That’s a new one for me.

They really do get a bad rep. I mean yeah like you said the games not perfect. But people clearly still enjoy the game and the developers have pulled some BS. But from what I’ve seen they know they got a solid fan base and they absolutely appreciate it. Even on their other games, I haven’t gotten into them personally but I can still tell a lot of people enjoy them. And I’m really excited about Halloween as it looks like it will be a solid replacement for Friday the 13th. I still miss that game
And yeah it was really weird. I fired off one charged blast and suddenly my controls just glitched out. I still finished the hunt but it was super frustrating
