Does anyone think the game needs to step up the gore just a tiny bit?
ie, “Stick around” Axe throwing.
ie. Head ripping trophy claim. (not a skull)

I feel, although it is a multiplayer asym, i still think they need to get it’s positioning right.
Not a yet a comedy nor a horror. But i don’t think it should be a comic book with purple smurf shaders and halloween holiday themes which we kind of got right now if you really wanted it.
Or an axe and machete.

2 finishers I want, first being a warclub golf swing to decapitate ft and 1 for fire team in the new stand off mechanic, where if the predator is low on hp and it has used all its meds, and ft member is mudded up, the ft member pushes the barrel of the gun to the preds chin and blows it’s brains out. A bit like a stealth kill.

Yes! This is the same problem I have with Dead by Daylight. That game has barely any gore effects! Look at Demogorgon and Leatherface’s kills. Demo bites off the Survivor’s head and Leatherface cuts their upper body in two, but the Survivor body is perfectly fine! Like what the hell is that? Why are they so afraid to show gore in an M rated horror game with multiple famous characters? At least Predator shows some gore with the claim and headshot animations.
I wouldn’t mind if the FT bodies showed the full aftermath of the claims (both versions) and stealth kills instead of just the head being gone. Like, actually show the FT’s body being torn open from the Predator ripping the skull and spine out. If something like a Plasma Caster or Net Gun (if the FT member is on really low health and they’ve been downed too many times) is used for the kill, then have the dead FT body reflect that (hole/missing body part for the caster and burned-through flesh for the Net Gun).
I don’t know how true this is since it came from Wikipedia, but apparently the Predator kills were so violent they needed to be toned down in order to not get an Adults Only rating.
The gore is already pretty good in my opinion, but those Arnold quotes with some special moves would be badass. I also tend to lol whenever a head is popped off or an arm flies off with gratuitous splatters of blood. While not extremely shocking or engrossing, the gore in this game feels just right. But again, some more finishing moves would be cool … and more voice clips from the movies.
