I think if society becomes more equal and fair, big if, many of these issues will go away. I think we are moving towards that historically, even though recently it has not been looking that good.

Because, with the whole entire angle of this conversation being anti-same sex relationships, you are inferring that same sex relationships are invalid due to the high number of domestic abuse between lesbians and more so with bisexuals, when you conveniently leave out the fact that the majority of the population here in the US is straight and isn’t the domestic abuse between the straights, 40% male victims and 60% female victims? Straight sexual people will always outnumber the LGBQ+ community, nothing good or bad about that, it’s just simply that its just the dominant sexuality. So by default, domestic abuse in straight sex relationships will always be more then same sex relationship domestic violence.
Which in turn, you would be saying that straight relationships is invalid, which defeats some of the people’s argument here that the left is against “family values”, or whatever, when this logic you are follow actually feeds on that argument itself.
I mean after centuries of violent persecutions and new polices, culture, and view points that allow the LGBQ+ community to exist in peace, of course you’ll see the numbers pop out as the don’t have to fear for their lives anymore. It’s like people with left hand dominance, left-handers used to be discriminated against by social, educational, and religious institutions. Social customs and even language set the left-hander apart as “different” and even “bad. Once those old shitty ideas were shed, you seen a number of left handed people be part of statistics and being open about themselves, not simply due to rise in population, but no longer the fear of being antagonized by society. They were always there, just never open about it.

I think i overheard the beginning of it once, and lemme just say that i’m not against equal rights. After all, gay people are still people. Same with black people. There really shouldn’t have to be an issue over whether there are rights for certain people, but the gays have just gone about it in a way that I, personally, find irritating.
