Truly waiting till the very last minute to do anything.
As usual.
Missed the days where we got 2 separate drops, gave us time to chew on the drops, instead of just being golden carroted and lead to believe it could drop at anytime.
Inb4 someone calls you a whiner for asking for the bare minimum of an expected release date.

I mean.
It’s just sad that they still don’t see the importance of maintaining a rapport with us as the community.
Leads me to believe they aren’t excited for anything to come (despite them not being able to show anything).
Hell after a year of them not saying anything, but using their other social media’s to inform how “excited they are” for future stuff, just doesn’t sit well with me because they know they can get non-the-wiser folk to jump into their game, cause they won’t be able to market here at all.

It follows there pattern of past dlc and I’m sure they are scrambling to make sure there are no major bugs and only funny glitches in the next patch! So that they can pull a few players back from Aliens Ft

Afte is sorta mirroring this game.
Needs teamwork, needs thought and strats, gonna be a fun grind.
It is a new game so any bugs or anything are expected and they sound like they are more hands on with the project than illfonic.
But with all this said…
2 of our favorite Sci fi franchises are alive.
Just praying they both are in or going into good hands!
personally what they both need now is a company to buy both of the game, or something more likely to happen is they end up doing a colab in one huge game once unreal engine 5 drops fully, and then merge in one big game and have like alien vs pred: hunting grounds or something like that… but then again im fucking high as shit rn and on some crystal meth and injecting myself with heroin in my eye balls XD
so yeah it aint happening sadly… but this is technically their only options really… OOR third one which is not even close to happening is for some rich company buying only predator and take over the production and rework it…

They cannot show or tell us anything due to the I.P holders, Sony, and internal release dates. Things can change which is why they switched to generic placeholders for the roadmap. Things fucked up and had to push something back.
They also don’t maintain anything with us given launch year where everybody was a fucking idiot on the forums wishing for COVID deaths, harassing the devs, and all and all being ass hats. That is why they don’t talk to us beyond updates or responding to bug reports. We as a community burned that bridge already.
We had two potential dates. The update is the last Tuesday of the month, but because of Fireteam it was believed Illfonic might tie into that given Predator’s Alien connection. That’s why I’d been stating two dates on posts about the update. It was either going to be a tie-in or it was going to be the last Tuesday of the month.
Yeah , why would they do any promotion of a product 🙄. Oh , because they have nothing worthy of promoting.
Illfonic are like a pornstar who said their pecker was 12" on their resume , but at every update they whip out 2" at best. Waste of good promotion and more money towards arcadegeddon
