Give the Predator objectives relating to the FTs mission, perhaps destroying data that the FT is attempting to retrieve as it contains sensitive Predator information. Or destroy evidence and equipment to keep it out of human hands.
Have missions that eventually lead to the 2 sides crossing paths rather than the Pred jumping around aimlessly till they find and kill random humans in the jungle.
Examples could be;
FT: Retrieve confidential data possibly revealing the existence of extraterrestrial life.
Pred: Humans have data on recent Yautja hunts. Destroy all trace.
FT: Local warlord running guerilla operations in the area, neutralise him.
Pred: Local human chief will make a fine trophy, claim for the honor of the clan.
FT: Reports of advance technology, retrieve for analysis and discover any clues to its source.
Pred: A Yautja was killed on a hunt before he could self destruct. Recover his gear then denote his self destruct device.
FT: Elite guerilla hit squad training recruits in the area. Track them down and eliminate them.
Pred: A group of humans took down a member of the clan and brought dishonor to us. Find them and restore the clans honor.
