I play on both and I think it would be grossly unfair to have cross play on mandatory. It actually might kill the game. If newbies can’t play against console players then they’re not going to have a chance in hell, most of the people on the PCS are frustrated enough playing with a bunch of potatoes who either run off in every direction within the first 2 minutes or camp in the biggest building they can find and try and run down the clock
Dude I have a 1070 Ti and at 1440P I am lucky if I get 50 FPS using all Epic Settings. Lowering shadows improve performance a lot.
That being said, I play from time to time with 30 FPS limit. Sure feels weird but like everything else, after a while you just get used to it.
I didn’t buy this “predator” game to wait 10 mins for a garbage match as the predator. Possibly the worst game ever made? Considering the potential with predator concept. This is such a bad job illfonic. Can somebody please make a good AVP soon cause this was such a letdown
skill gap is not the developer’s fault. This is a multiplayer online only game and it was described as such when you bought it.
Honestly online PUBS go from super easy mode to nightmare mode against a decent team. That is not the developer’s fault. That is entirely up to the players. There is no in between players here. They either suck balls or are un-killable for most of us. The learning curve is way too steep because of this.

Actually it is. Its up the devs to design a proper, skill based matchmaking. But at this point with the small player base we have, its to late.
Call of Duty Warzone is free to play. There is a big difference. Also, console only wait times aren’t any more than 8 - 10 min. The only effect this would have would be to punish console players that prefer to fight on an even playing field. Also, Call of Duty balances to account for some people playing with a m&k vs controller, and you can’t do “potato” graphics, as far as I’m aware.
There were other games list that have mandatory cross play in this that it still works just as well by simply by giving a decent Aim assist. And ques still go up to 15 and 20 minutes even if it says 10
Sometimes, but I think those are connection issues, because they’re very rare for me.
Even when I am getting 100mb per sec I still have it happen quite often at this point in the game. It’s why I don’t play the majority of the time anymore until something is done about it
I just reviewed my last stream. My average wait time was about 6:46, and only once did I wait over 10 min, by 1 second.
I think its tied to what hour are people hitting the que.

well there are a such things in games as peak game hours (when the largest portion of the playerbase is online) and off hours (when the smallest portion of the playerbase is online) and then there is the inbetween

Is anybody else actually getting ‘longer’ wait times with crossplay on? I’ve been switching back and forth between the two recently, but today I noticed that although the estimated times seem to be the same either on or off, the actual time until connection has been longer for me with crossplay on?
Anybody have any idea why this would be the case?
