I figured I would bump this again to say its 2021 and still not seemed to be addressed.
Crossplay invites?
No it is. Crossplay invites work
It hasnāt? Iāve had crossplay invites when the patch notes said they figured it out.
How do you get it to work? Iāve linked my Playstation account to Epic and my friend who only plays on PS4 canāt add me and I canāt see him on my friend list.
He needs to have an epic linked to his PS4 account as well. Then add each other on Epic and itāll work
easiest way to do it (worked with some randoms I found on twitch)
If your PS4 friend has Rocket League or Fortnite, have him launch either of those games and send an invite through there using his epic account. You will get the friend request on epic. Once you accept it, you will both need to launch or re-launch the game.
Only other way is having your friend create an epic account, download the epic games store to a computer, sign in, send you a request and then in the game link his PS4 to his epic account
