Crossplay On/Off and matchmaking

Hello.
I wish Illfonic would make it possible for a premade party consisting of let’s say 1x PC and 3x PS players, where the PC player is the party creator and has Crossplay turned Off, making this party still able to only queue up against PC Predators and nothing else.
If you try to queue up with this team setup right now you’ll get a neverending “matchmaking” timer.

I think it shouldn’t matter how the party looks like, it should be the party leader/creator who decides if you’ll meet Predators with the same client or random ones, depending on what his/her Crossplay is set on.

These parties are possible, but everyone needs to have crossplay enabled

One of my friends has his crossplay turned off so he can’t play with PC players and man I wish I could just drag him into one against a PC predator lol it would be hilarious to hear him rage the whole match 🤣

It doesn’t work for us, we just get an endless matchmaking.

I play with my PC buddies all the time, I’m on ps4. Like I said, EVERYONE needs to have crossplay enabled or you ain’t getting into a match. Ask everyone in your party to enable crossplay, sometimes peeps can forget to turn it on or leave it on.

I know everyone has to keep crossplay On, or atleast the party creator, to be able to queue up for matches with a mixed party of EG, PS and Steam players. But this thread is about being able to queue up against only PC Predators while having a mixed party.
If the creator of the party is playing via EG and has crossplay off and the rest of the party are PS or Steam players, then i want the matchmaking to only look for EG(PC) Predators, since the party leader/creator is on EG him/herself.

Because it’s boring to meet PS Predators, and i want friends whom i play together with who are playing on PS and Steam to be able to only meet PC Predators aswell.

True, also at the same time crossplay affects PS and steam players in the same way - that should not be the case
