I dont have Playstation but someone tested that what they wrote? Iinked PSN account to Epic/ linked epic account to PSN
I am PC player and i am curious if someone tested it if there is option like they wrote with linking accounts

Well if this is the case than My EGS account is also the same as my name here on the forum along with my PSN
we should probably keep this thread bumped so people can know how to do it if it does work and it would be nice to have a universal thread with game ID’s
Yea but we need ammm “test subjects” to tested that and we will know if that work or not. If not
That my thred can go to close because they will be nonsense keeping that open and can show some people which gonna go crazy like “thats doesnt work you $#/$%! And why you bother with it? You are pc etc etc”

I tested this a week and a half ago and it didnt work. I might have done this wrong though.
EGS account was linked to my PSN.
The friend I was trying to invite on playstation had their epic games account and PSN linked
When I launched on PC at the time we assumed that it would recognise them in the friends list based solely on the fact we were friends on PSN…
The next step for me to try is to add them to my EPIC friends list as this is probably how it recognises we are friends.
If anyone has had success doing this then please let me know.
Edit - tried again we were already friends on epic games. Did not work…

To me it seems to be an issue with the PS4 side of things.
I can see my PC friends online when in the EGS. I can even see PS4 friends as online if they play fortnite.
However when they launch predator they show as offline. The epic games servers should be picking up the fact that they are playing predator.
As a final test I’m going to have my buddy on fortnite then try invite him from there.
EDIT: this didn’t work either.
The only way I can see this working correctly is the fortnite formula where it makes you create an epic account or uses your existing linked account to log in and match make. However, I dont think Sony will be best pleased with that.
Any sort of fix to allow parties and private games would be welcome at this stage.

hmmm okay so Illfonic have hard work with Playstation. I’m suprised Sony allowed for crossplay

Reguardless of issues the biggest issue was illfonic promised customers before sells there will be crossplay platform invites but as it stands still there aint NO platform invites which means they lied to us to boast their sells, pretty fucking obvious. What cons lmfao.

I am suprised that Sony allows for crossplay in this game but i guess there is tought fight with PSN to allow people on console to invite pc players to the game
Maybe Illfonic think Sony will open widly with crossplay but nope
