CROSSPLAY: unable to accept epic friend request in the predator game.

just a bit of feedback.

Getting crossplay working can be a real pain if the PS4 player has been sent a friend request to their epic account. Unless they have fortnite installed they don’t have the facility to accept an epic friend request and to my knowledge you cant accept this in a Web browser either.

Could epic can give illfonic permission to add epic fried request notifications within predator hunting grounds so they can accept epic friend requests within the game itself?

This posed a real headache for us when we were trying to crossplay invite friends yesterday. My friend didn’t have fortnite and didn’t previously have an epic account so after signing up they had to give me their username and password so I could log into epic store on my PC and accept the friend request on thier behalf.

An inelegant solution that many people wouldn’t even think of and it may turn them off crossplay invites as it’s so complicated…

Did you sync your psn and epic accounts?

Yeah, we did get it working but the only way was as posted above- we had to login to the ps4 users epic games store on a PC to accept the friend request or we couldn’t see each other online.

This is definitely a sucky situation.
Epic Store doesn’t even have an app to allow ppl to accept friend requests. Something like that would be more convenient as most ppl have a smart device like an iphone.
This means if a PS player doesn’t have a computer, they are shit out of luck for accepting invites.
I requests to PS players on the weekend …but nobody except one made it on my list.
