Please turn off the option of disabling crossplay & remove the icons that show what platform someone is playing on.
Or your PC users will all be gone due to lack of games.
Most PS players have already disabled crossplay and those that haven’t generally leave a game as soon as there’s a Pred on PC.
Waiting times say expected 6mins, reality over half an hour and if you get a game as PC pred against PS FT, the quit 90% of the time.
I get where you are coming from on this being a PC gamer myself on a lot of games but also as a console player there are reasons we disable crosaplay. Now i dont know why they leave when you are a predator as i dont believe mouse and keyboard gives you that much of an advantage using him. Maybe some but not much. Now going up against a whole PC FT i could understand not wanting to do that as a console player. Also i hate to put this in here but its easier for PC users to cheat which sadly there are quite a bit that do that.

the reasons you disable crossplay is that generaly playing against a keyboard and mouse puts you at a disadvantage.
I’ve got a PS4 also, console games are console games, it has and always will be so, until consoles allow full incorporation of keyboard and mouse.
But if you are going to market a crossplay game fps/3ps depending on the character (I would prefer if pred could go fps also), then you have to remove the ability of people to discriminate based on platform.

Once the spam spotting and things get smoothed out, pc players are done.
For now I’m not going to be some elitist pc players toy with the imbalances. Talking from pred perspective facing pc fireteam.
Also my ques are 50 secs with crossplay on.
30 seconds off. Just load in faster with it off
you can spam spot on PS as well…
and what are the imbalances, apart from keyboard and mouse vs controller?
Most of the keybindings you can customise do not work on PC.
On a controller all custom bindings work.
Frame rate on pc is quite superior. Sometimes if I try and spam spit it doesnt quite work that well it is spotty.

Never said it was. I’m not putting myself in a game where someone gets a false sense of “being better” due to their system having better optimization especially when this game has a ton of work left.

Until Sony allows the full incorporation of a KB and mouse into games, the tide will always be against you in FPS games.
And the fact that is known makes my original point more relevant.
if you want to release a crossplay game, then make it so crossplay is automatic and disable the indicators to show what platform each player is on…
Get the PS5 when it’s released…

The reason i disabled it is because i happened to bump into an aimbotter inside of an all pc FT squad. Jumped from tree to tree he never missed a shot. He did this while the other 3 weren’t even bothering with me. Thats why i disabled it. I like the challenge of fighting a keyboard and mouse but i dont like cheaters. Unfortunately PC tends to have this issue a little to much for my liking.
you are aware that the first thing that loads on PC prior to the game loading is anticheat software (so software that checks if there’s something like an aimbot running), ?
it adds a good bit of time to the loading time.
Unlike PS4, which doesn’t check if you have a programmable dongle acting as the receiver for your controller.
Just because a game has anti cheat doesn’t mean people don’t know how to get around it. COD warzone has anti cheat and people still cheat in there and i bet they have better anti cheat than illfonic i gurantee that.

Reverse engineering takes time, a fair bit of it, by people that see a way to benefit from their time spent…
And then they have to take the time to work around the software specifically designed to stop them doing what they just did, which actually takes more time than the first step…
so yeah this game is full of aimbots

You being a pc player on this game i understand it sucks to get left out because consoles don’t want to play with PC but i wont turn on my crossplay until a better report system comes in for banning people who feel the need to use cheats.
Mate, just because pc players are generally far far more accurate and compared to the ps4 have far better graphics… doesn’t mean they’re cheating…

Ugh see this is what console players are talking about. PC just fails to see that they do have some faults. Yes i know mouse makes you more accurate but not so accurate that you can hit every bullet while leaping and jumping back into trees through the jungle.
The difference is that a mouse has very fine movement, so if some one jumps you can follow their path…
Especially if they stand out like dogs balls due to poor game design.
I can go from 4800dpi (would never use it because I’d turn 720 degrees in less than a cm of movement), down to 4dpi (so it would take me moving my mouse over a meter to turn 360 degrees).
and it is custom controlled while using it… So quick movement, to slow tracking a landing path movement instantly.
Don’t blame pc gamers for sony not letting you use good tools.
Cheats and hacks is what you used as reasons not to use crossplay…
