The guy in the first clip getting one-shotted obviously had bad luck since he thought the predator was up on the hill, he stopped, looked up towards the hill, but in fact he stopped right infront of the Predator. The Predator had a clear shot at him because of that.
So this was not a dream scenario for the Predator in your opinion? A Fireteam player walking straight up to you then stops to look up.
As for the question wether this is a good team or not i can’t really tell, i’d have to see more. They have some communication but much of it is not useful for the other teammates to hear, but are they good at playing? They stand out in the open field pretty much(where i would want them to be if i played as Predator), instead of seeking shelter and obstacles to line of sight behind.
I didn’t see a single spotting in the clip either, or is spotting forbidden in tournaments?
2:48 why not kill the AI? It will expose player’s locations. A melee hit would have killed it.
4:28 only backpedaling as the Predator is attacking, it’s pretty hard for him NOT to miss a throw.
I’d say these guys were mediocre players, but i understand it can be fun to participate when it’s a tournament so cheers to them.
I’ve seen the second clip before, and yes, it’s most likely a bug, a spear throw should not down a Dutch2025. To us viewers it looks like the Predator hit his leg, but we don’t know if there was any lag that could have caused bad animation or not. A headshot used to do around 138 damage i think, something tells me that this bug throw recorded two hits with the spear instead of one, almost like the wrist blade bug.
