I put 20, but personally think around 15 would be a good starting place.

A larger part of this can be tested in privates. Its an interesting combination of parameter modification. They do complement but getting there right balance is a matter of testing.

Here’s what needs to change, IMO

Damage needs to be reduced by half on everyone

Perks on both sides need to be reworked so they don’t stack up with passives and specializations

Passives and specializations should not stack up

Some missions need to be reworked so they are shorter on big maps (air strip, headquarters) while longer on Overgrowth, which is a very small map

Pred cloak should consume less energy and make less clicking noises

FT members should shut the fuck off, or have that silent perk make them mute so they don’t give away their position every time they interact with something

But more than anything, game breaking bugs need to be fixed, such as location exploits, animation cancels, animation locks, etc.

I’d just like to point out Animation Cancels aren’t bugs or exploits, they’ve been an intentional part of game design since the early 2000s and are included in games to assist in raising the skill ceiling & giving players neat little tricks to speed up or improve their gameplay. This is most evident in games like Doom Eternal where 90% of its high-end gameplay is Animation Cancel after Animation Cancel, and other such games like DMC & the like. The animation cancelling present in this game is 100% intentional and part of standard game design in the current year, and if anyone takes an issue with that then I’d like to point to the 20+ other actions that cannot be Animation Cancelled. It’s been over a year and Preds still can’t animation cancel melee attacks which is one of the main reason melee in this game is a bad option against good teams because every other game in existence, even Dark Souls , will let you melee cancel & interrupt actions with other inputs. A scale with thunderous weight at each side is balanced… doesn’t mean the balance is good if the scale can’t support such weight. You see?

So the balance of the game is bad, but is not unbalanced ATM

except such evidence was shown to the devs and they stated that’s not how the game is intended to be played and are making changes so it doesn’t happen

That’s a fair point, but it is pretty unbalanced when almost everything favors ft.

That’s not me speaking from pred side btw, more from when I play ft.

Honestly though, i think both sides need a rework since both feel lackluster now a days.

Lowering damage on both sides might work?
Maybe just increasing health?

Idk.

All I know is when I do a private match and increase health on both sides by a lot, those fights are fun as hell.

Right now I think both sides are OP and deal way too much damage. I want matches to be longer, not shorter.

I just hate how the game is starting to feel like Call of Duty ghost

But even in in Call of Duty ghost that predator was a lot stronger(dps) then any predators in this game

Strongly disagree so far. In my experience those missions are just fine. In fact I think it’s about damn time the FT had a little pressure of finishing the mission on time instead of blazing through and having 10 minutes to chase the pred.
I think this is great for gameplay. Now you’re forced to pick a win strategy. Not “finish mission or kill pred whichever comes first”. The average pred can actually win now by slowing you down

either way i dont feel like playing 15 min matches. your gonna have to save your ammo and preds gona have to find boars.

there’s plenty of both, and that’s also kinda the point. if you lower damage FT will need to be less trigger happy

also… right now most matches last less than the queue up and loading screens

This is the only Multiplayer game I’ve played where matches are so short.

here’s the thing, if you increase the mission time, people will simply (I mean, they already do) ignore it altogether and instead of chasing pred for 10 minutes, they are going to chase for 15

last thing i want is ps4 potatoes hitting me on FT. Make nades friendly fire and rockets. Plus id shoot a lot of them
