Well the leak could be bs, but I saw the same “leak” from different sources on social media.
I did read after the Alien: Earth and Badlands were out, that they are setting up the universe for an AvP movie.
What makes no sense to me is having two directors, directing one movie.
Romulus was fine but Alien:Earth was better in my opinion.
Whatever they decide to do, just keep Ridley Scott out of it. He did more bad than good in his last two Alien movies. I wouldn’t let him near those franchises ever again.

Yeah, I haven’t bothered after Alien: Covenant. I only followed up after Prometheus, bc I wanted to see David continue to fuck shit up, but the rest was ass.

Anyways Its important to note that…while we already had endless discussions about Alien Earth, that we haven’t found when an HR GIGER nightmare fuel dream film is going to come about. Why is that important? Well we didn’t fuckin see TOCulus in the original Alien and HR GIGER made the identity of the Xenomorph! So no doubt its important to the fabrication of literature.
This might bring up what has been noted by Hideo Kojima and his influences on Death Stranding with its eco system of a world designed around the Time Fall and BTs. The BTs, a large assortment of enemy bosses, are designed around a single concept, that of the black tar merged with mythical or abstract beasts that will appear in the game. In addition, there are an assortment of fictional technological designs for military, vehicles and also real world environments that make everything work well together without asking too many questions about why it was there or the pallette of design. Much like in Alien.
Hideo expressed a bunch of stuff about the Alien franchise and no doubt infleunce on conceptualizing Death Stranding.
The idea of having a Giger nightmare fueled world is something we haven’t seen yet it might exist in complexity, I’d say only at the level of detail and world building atmosphere of AAA games.
When I look Alien Earth I see something similar to Avatar’s universe. There are practical and well understood biology merged with stuff that couldn’t appear on Earth. Yet there it is in the game.
There is alot of death in Gigers design, occult ideas, sexual reproduction in the most sexually understood way possible. How that might work in a world building exercise is still not explored in any written literature. However there has been attempts such as Scorned to bring the nightmare, however not much is said about a back story. Still I think the gaming landscape is a huge canvas for a Giger world to exist on even if it needs to be coupled with more ideas written in part of its universe.
Thats just my thesis (while i’m on the juice).
Keep his ass in the “ideas” department and nowhere close to making big decisions that change the lore completely

Naw its family soap operas and salty hunters where before if you bested a predator you were let go and in some cases honored/respected. Now if you beat a predator they just come back pick you up leave you in cryo to then have you killed later. Shits wack as fk
