Um,i do believe it takes effort to program anything of this sort even if you think its a bug, dont you think there is value inthis even if its tribal knowledge?
like i mean, if everything that goes into programming a single or double hit (double hit without even getting the first hit), wouldn’t you say that its intended to be this way without actually needing to make it into the manual of documentation of sorts? Considering how FUCKING hard it is to land a melee hit with AXE with 1 member…in a god forsaken jungo with 3 other deathsquaders…so

i don’t know whats worse:
trying to tell folk that this happens because they wanted it to be this way (deliberate) or
trying to tell folk that this happens because its exploitive (pHHH that shits rare.).

OK, i saw the excel spread sheet of hit damage…but like…how does a game dev tell you folks that “yes” we intended for this.

Dude the axe is bugged. I was just pointing out how is bugged. Do I use the axe and abuse the exploit? Hell yeah. But for the sake of a tournament (mine) I decided to ban it since we all know that’s not how is supposed to work.

Others can do whatever they want. Those who have only recently became “good” as pred because they rely on that weapon, well… get ready for when it gets fixed, like it happened with the katana.

Though I still think the axe will be effective even if the bug is fixed, it will just not be broken as it is right now (you can miss two hits, land a third and do over 250HP damage with the right class/specialization/perks)

I don’t even care about the bug. The axe is straight over tuned.

  • 100 Base damage plus 15 bleed is way too strong.
  • the light attacks are too fast as well, leaving the War Hammer useless.

2 changes, besides fixing the bug are necessary.

  • Base Heavy Attack Damage should be 87 like the other Heavy melee weapons.
  • the light attacks should be at least 15% slower than the War Hammer, so it has a niche to fill.

You’re saying exactly what you mean, but you are also not saying what its worth to other players. considering that other players usually play with 4 other FT players. did you even mention the use on a full 4 team squad? no!

How is the video even beneficial facing against a 1 man FT squad? Are you just triyng indicate to the world that its happening ‘this’ way for good reason? or are you feeling like youre abusing the system?

Seems to me you’re not getting the most out of what ye found here yar!

AGain, the point is IT IS NOT A BUG. Why is a video placing 1 pred and 1 FT member diddling out the percentages of what an axe can do- a bug?
Question is not about the state of the video, question is about why there isnt’ 4 fucking FT memebrs fucking him up at the same time?

How is scenerio not bugged when you dont have 4 fucking FT members fucking him up in 2 seconds to second wind? Axe is pretty damned OK weapon with 1 dumbass puppet doing what that dumbass Predator GOD is testing for. Why does one FT dumbass not ask what Predator GOD is doing? Maybe that dumbass FT playstation potatoe is going “yeah i like it, contineu. I like the way you pump it!”.

Alpha,Brava, Charlie BOT are going “give it to him while we watch!” Predator can dance~!

Have you played as FT recently?

You get three potatoes who never played a video game in their lives, so the only one who’s shooting and fighting the Pred is you and good luck surviving Mr.Black with medic perk and axe.

I’d rather have a real bot than Potato Station bots.

The bug is a problem, but the actual damage when you hit them is actually quite adequate considering how overpowered the fireteam damage is on this game, if you can’t down fts that fast with a melee weapon there is no point in ever using melee. Most people don’t realize cus they the sea of potatos on this game give people a bad impression of how the fireteam is.

Fighting a good predator with 3 potatos is hard, sure, specially when he focus only on you + is using good weapons for 1v1s, but the problem is not the predator or his weapons, its the goddamn potatos fts that look like a grandma playing a videogame for the first time. Then they bump into someone that is good, and well he must be cheater… or maybe the standards on this game are just that low.

I started playing again after about a week off. Playing randos hurts my brain so much now…the sheer amount of stupid baffles me. And its really comforting to be the only one engaging a Pred, dying, seeing it so close to second wind, but when it switches to cam mode, everyone is off either hiding or fighting the AI somewhere.

No melee weapon should be used against 4 people. No melee weapon should be effective against 4 people at the same time

I never said they should be used to take out 4 at a time. I implied that the video doesn’t show 4FT since its not possible to even get close to 1 while using the axe if they play well. Which Im trying to point out. Why must we go over this again? evry day every hour? Is it because you lack something to do?
