More or less, the strife should come to a halt. As said multiple times, the Pred isn’t “OP” now; they’ve just been tweaked and the FT has been taken out their comfort zone. Now they can’t run up and melee a Pred, else they’ll face an instant loss. They can’t blow themselves up with the expectation of possibly hitting the Pred if they’re close, and, especially, they can’t split off and chase a wounded Predator, else they’ll find themselves dead. Hell, I think in one case the FT screwed themselves because, as I was passing by, someone Spotted and fired at me and I turned to notice them. Had they not done that, I’d have kept going towards another whole area, far from the objective zone.
I’ve played FT myself often and, of course, we’ve dealt with rushers. They lost. The trick is, now, you need to play like an actual team. Coordinate, and be tactical. Example: Pred finds you via heat and sound. Run Suppressors and Mud, then. Can’t get walloped if you can’t be found.
My main argument is you shouldn’t complain and gripe because the Pred players don’t want to use the same trick over and over again to have a chance at winning. Not everyone wants to ONLY use the plasma caster from behind cover and trees. Sometimes they want to lay traps and pick off stragglers with their wristblades. Some want to use purely ranged weapons and skirt around the edges of the area. And a few want to down someone and use audio recordings to attract someone over and get a free double. That’s the point of the game; mixing things up and having fun. FT can do the same; bored being Assault? Go Recon and be Sneaky Beaky.
