I’d like to address a few things every fireteam member should avoid and why, along with some tips on what you could try out for yourself.
Surround sound headsets:
are probably the most effective way to play this game, if you don’t have one you might consider getting one, it would improve your gameplay drastically. They allow you to track the predators by hearing what direction the sound they make is coming from.
Team movements:
Always maintain visual with your fireteam, avoid placing walls or structures between each other It can make you an easy target for ambush and your team won’t be able to get to you in time. If you have a sniper watching over you in a nest, remain within view, snipers are highly effective at causing mass damage using few shots and getting the drop on the predator. Try to maintain space between each other to avoid everyone being slammed at once.
Weapons and gear:
I personally avoid shotguns, they seem like a waist of a weapon slot and there are better weapons out there. Don’t ever use smoke or thermals, the predator can see threw smoke using thermal vision but the fire team is blinded. The predator can see threw thermal flair with regular vision, flairs blur the fireteams vision and make it hard to spot a cloaked predator. Using both at the same time is admittedly effective at concealing you from the predator however it completely blinds your team.
Talking:
Avoid talking or making loud noises while the team is searching for the predator. The team uses
