This helps to illustrate a difficult position a lot of good PC predators are in right now. We could keep crossplay on and get matched with a mix of PC/PS4 players. But that can lead to a pretty boring and unchallenging match due to the advantages a PC has over console. If the predator turns crossplay off to only go against PC players for a greater challenge and even playing field, it is grossly in the FTs favor. Especially with the low res issues, macros, exploits, etc that FT are able to take advantage of. In short, good PC preds are stuck in limbo between this is too easy and this is impossible.

this game is run by a bunch of pencil pushing cia clowns who dont know what they’re doing
idk how they managed to slow down the menus on the ps4 so badly lol it was perfectly normal during the beta and during the first 2 weeks after launch, then they patched it and it legit takes 3-4 seconds just to scroll up and down.

Nope. Playing on PC. You’re gonna have to trust me. I didn’t break down every single moment by moment gameplay, because the post would have been pages long. I did throw the combi-stick. Didn’t make a difference. Fireteam has endless heals with no consequence for being downed. No matter how much damage I do, they either use an instant heal syringe, or they take turns healing with a med pack and cover each other with sniper fire.
Player with the knife had probably been hit multiple times with arrows, caster…he just healed up. So hitting him with the combi-stick did nothing. He didn’t care, becasue he had his trusty knife. And since you absolutely must use the bow and the combistick I didn’t have a net launcher to stop him parrying literally every single attack I made regardless of mixing up my timing, and circling, strafing. COuldn’t land a single attack. Just Parry, knife, parry knife.
If you ever wanted a reason to be concerned for the future of the game then just look at the way Illfonic handled the last patch, specifically the “Parry Fix.”
They added a stamina cost. The cost is completely negligible and does nothing to stop players still being able to parry 4-5 times before running out of stamina. As if that wasn’t enough, players can STILL parry with zero stamina left. Meaning that players can still sprint in and out of melee, parry endlessly, and solo knife a Predator to death, or at the very least completely shut down his melee game, forcing him to go back to long range. The “fix” did absolutely NOTHING to change the gameplay or outcome.
If this is their idea of “fixed” then I have zero hope for future patches.
Guys, tbh, playing predator is not for you:) it`s all about tactics and going for the kill at the right time… i never lost with the predator, and i have somewhere between 20-30 matches…

The trick is to go for a short range slam behind him here (and I emphasize behind him because if you land infront of him you can literally get knifed before your slam hits the ground and it will cancel it). The slow from the slam allows you to sprint around and two hit him with wristblades. If his friend shows up you might get melted though. Melee sucks at that level of play, I entirely agree. It’s mostly suicide and you have no way to safely approach beyond catching someone around a corner. So your only option is to trade bow vs their hitscan weapons which also sucks since FT is capable of putting out x5 your damage.
