Dear Ilfonic, This game is broken.

I am trying to give constructive feedback here as I could not be more frustrated than I am now.

I have absolutely had it with this game. I’ve played my last match. Against a PC fireteam. I’ve never seen anything like this. I was a Hunter. Had the Bow, and Combistick. I knew I was in trouble when at the beginning of the match I activated my Isolation literally the second it was available and they had already mudded up.

I switched to the bow and started hunting. Found them. Hit one with an arrow. Leap to another location, hit another. Three more. Hadn’t taken a single hit. Charged plasma bolt. Direct hit. But their sniper saw me and I took a hit. Just one. I relocated. But they started hunting me. Dropped everything and came after me.

I was fast. Landing my shots and getting the hell away. They couldn’t touch me. But I also couldn’t do enough damage. I started to get frustrated. I needed to be doing more to impact the fireteam. I was running out of time. I circled to flank, found them. Charged shot, they see me, sniper fire and grenades. I now have about 3/4ths of my health.

Flank again, more hits with the bow, more caster fire. It’s not doing enough. And now I can’t get a LOS becasue I’m being spot spammed no matter how I try to reposition. Finally, I see my opening. One isolated fireteam member with a minigun is busy fighting AI. The other three are circling around a rock to try and flank. I slam. They hop over the rock and melt my health before I can even move.

I run, get chased, and solo’ed by a single fireteam memeber with a fucking knife. Parried EVERY FUCKING ATTACK I MADE (and yes, I mixed up my timing to try to counter this), AND KILLED ME. ALONE. WITH A FUCKING KNIFE.

I’m over it Illfonic. I’m fucking over it. I spent money on a Predator game. If I just wanted a lone wolf shooter I could have bought COD.

I’m not volunteering to be a fucking fox for the fireteam to hunt. I’m done, and I’m telling every person I know to avoid this game like the plague. And if I see the name Illfonic on anything else from here on, you better believe I’m not touching it with a 10 foot pole.

You don’t wanna communicate? Fine. Then don’t expect a cent from me ever again.

I usually play a hunter but try playing a Berserker against a Playstation fireteam. They all quit at the beginning of a match. This has happened 3 out of 4 times. Que for 10-15 minutes. Get dumped into an empty lobby. Try 3 more times. Finally get into a match and they just quit, becasue while a PC fireteam can annihilate even a pro Berserker, PS players can’t do anything against them. So they just leave. No penalty for quitting so why not? This game couldn’t be more of a mess than it is. If the game was 100x larger I might understand. But this game has ONE mode of play, and THREE maps. It’s not remotely big enough to justify this many problems. Did one person make this game!?

If they arent doing some serious reworking of the full game experience, then this game isnt gonna last much longer. Ive been saying this since the last update. But the game is bleeding out horribly. The last patch was a band aid solution to attempt to stop the bleeding long enough that they can get a real rework out there. But as it stands, either one of two things is happening. Either A, they are working on something big right now, but its too little too late. Or B, they dont give a fuck and are solely working on these new dlc drops that are in the scheme of things, useless.

if the DLC isnt accompanied by a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG list of bugfixes and QOL then ill be putting the game away.

I dont want to, love the game. but it needs fixing

If you were a PS4 Pred, I don’t know why you’re getting mad over getting outplayed by PC players. You’re basically fighting CS:GO type of people that actually knew how to aim their shots. Also you got hit by Gernades?

How far did you exactly run? If you ran in a straight line, no shit they would have found you. With the Blind and Leaping, shouldn’t have been too difficult to find a safe place even against PC FT. Plus, you could have just jumped away, and thrown your Combi-Stick.

I will not deny that the game definitely needs fixing, but this all seems kinda iffy to me.

Lol no fam. Im a csgo type player and even I hate playing pc fireteams as a PC pred. It can be extremely difficult to make any plays whatsoever

On the same page as you right now. I was main FT but got bored, after 1.6 started playing mostly as pred and I win 80% of my games but it just dose not feel right - always its a fuc**** race to the choppa that always ends in a bloody mess, not remotly close to the hunting expirience this game was promising to deliver. If the next patch will not address core gameplay mecanichs than I’m out

You are right, parry and solo killing predator with a fuc**** kitchen knife is a game breaker. Complete nonsens. Funny how a game is actually dying right now because of something stupid as that, not the long list of other issues it has XD

Shame, I really like this game, but I lost all hopes after last comm from devs

Yup - after countless posts on our end describing issues, bugs and game breaking stupid mechanics, they have announced a fuck*** paid DLC…

PC fireteam literally spam the spot that’s all they do and I play as PC pred as well. I haven’t played thus dang game in like 3 weeks not touching it till the update it.they said they were working on a bigger update when they launched 1.06. I check Twitter everyday and all they freaking post is crap about DLC. A character that’s so iconic that I love to death and here they are playing with their balls

You’re gonna exhaust that enthusiasm you have for this game very soon. I’ve been there. I appreciate your work, don’t get me wrong. Keep it up.
But remember that us, the customers/players, are the majority that read and are ACTIVE in the forums, a majority that doesn’t have the power to change anything about the main subject, aka this game.
They “hear” the feedback but 75% of time is us moving in circles. We, customers/players, only -and always- communicate with one another but never with the dev’s because they don’t give any sign of activity -yet- anyway. So it’s just a big circle full of information that goes nowhere because there’s no one with enough power to change something to acknowledge that info. To break the circle, ya know?
Anyhow, this is the situation right now and I advise everyone to give the dev’s time. Because besides all the bugs and errors this game has, their team still is very small. They need time to implement things and repair things. It doesn’t matter how many times you try to help them or report bugs, they know very well what is going on.
My god I can’t believe how much I wrote down.

To the OP: gotta turn cross play off my man. The game will still have its issues, but you’ll avoid situations like this. Really it doesn’t make sense to fight PC players on console anyway. 100% with you.
