I’ve played the game and loved it thus far, As both a Predator and Fireteam player that’s reached level 100 a couple days back I believe certain changes should be made. I’d like to post my opinion and hope that someone at least reads it, even if it isn’t agreed with. Please take note, I do love your game and don’t want to make it seem like I’m bashing on it, just want to try to help.
Anyway, here we go…
◼️⬜⬜⬜Match Length⬜⬜⬜◼️
From what I’ve played so far the game is most certainly fun and entertaining as both sides. Though I feel like the matches are to short. With the Fireteam rushing through all missions in under four-five minutes it makes the Predator have no choice but to rush them. I think it would be fantastic if the missions were made to be longer. From a chain of three-four objectives to seven-eight maybe even more. Otherwise, it could be made so that as long as the Predator Claims one player Trophy the match doesn’t end as a loss for the Predator…
This makes it so the Predator can take it’s time and stalk the fireteam and pick them off. This would fix many balancing issues in my opinion it would also fix the problem players have with reinforcements as well. Including me, I think reinforcements needs to be a thing, but if an entire team is reinforced it’s rare that the Predator can kill them all before extraction is called.
◼️⬜⬜⬜The Predator⬜⬜⬜◼️
The Predator, I feel like the release state of the Predator was okay but I also feel that the Fireteam should be a lot weaker than the predator. The fireteam should be afraid of the Predator, which I’ve rarely felt since I started playing.
Other fireteam players argue with this, but in the original movie the Predator killed all of Dutches crew with ease. That’s how I think it should be. The Predator should do massive damage but perhaps die in fifteen or so shots from medium caliber rounds. This makes Predators focus on more stealthy and smart tactics, but at the same time they’ll be very dangerous with their damage output. A predator who can down an entire team without being seen is a realistic predator.
The berserker should be considerably beefier, perhaps being able to survive fourty-fifty medium caliber rounds. This makes it so an entire fireteam can gun down a Predator in a realistic fashion if the Predator gets seen or rushes in without thinking. While at the same time the Predator can just as easily kill fireteam members.
◼️⬜⬜⬜Mudding up & Spotting⬜⬜⬜◼️
Now, my thoughts on mudding up and spotting. First off I think mudding up should only be doable at the edges of water, and if one goes through deep water it should be washed off. Players shouldn’t even be able to mud up until they see the predator.
With a mechanic similar to the Predators Scanning system the Humans should need to be able to see the Predator for a few moments to fully scan/see/identify them, then once the Player Character is aware there is a Predator they can mud up and spot the Predator.
Spotting the predator notifies the rest of the team there is one and let’s the rest of the fireteam mud up and spot the predator without the need to scan it themselves. This would make things more immersive as the Mercs didn’t go in expecting a Predator, or most likely even knowing the Yautja exist.
This makes it make sense since one player character would see/identify the Predator, then tell the rest of the squad what they saw making them aware.
◼️⬜⬜⬜Fireteam⬜⬜⬜◼️
Then the fireteam, when playing them I think they are at an okay place. Most fireteam players just seem to forget that their goal is to complete the mission and extract alive. Not kill the Predator. Your goal is to survive and escape. But as I said, the missions should be considerably longer and Spotting/ mudding up shouldn’t be allowed from the get go.
◼️⬜⬜⬜Predator Weapons⬜⬜⬜◼️
. Smart Disc: Should be able to pilot itself toward the most visible target, but return once it hits it’s target. If it misses it gets stuck and needs to be picked back up.
Also faster attacks would be nice with it. Overall I feel like it should be an effective close-medium range weapon using quick slashes and short range boomeranging throws.
. Combi-Stick: this is fine as it is, perhaps make one or two attacks of its chain linear jabs and not wide swings.
. Handheld Plasma Cannon: Make it like the Wolf Predators Handheld Plasma Caster from AVPR. Make the weapon charge up slowly with the audio cue that can give a hint of the Predators weapon, but make it release a devastating close range blast after the charge up.
. Plasma Caster: Add auto targeting to non charged blasts, aiming starts the auto targeting. Holding the charge instead of tapping the firing button makes it stop auto-aiming instantly for the shot.
.War Club: Make it a non-parryable weapon with a slow attack speed and high damage.
. Wrist blades: Make it so if the wrist blades are parried the Fireteams blade and the Predators wristblade connect and ping off each others weapons causing sparks. Not stunning the Predator or the Fireteam member. Similar to in Predator 2 when Mike Harrigan has the Smart Disc and fights the City Hunter in the Yautja ship…
Add a modification to extend the predators wristblade length giving it more range.
Add a modification to allow the Predator to fire it’s wristblade out of its wrist like a projectile.
. Yautja Bow: Add small amount of aim assist.
. Net gun: Make it so it is more difficult to escape a net if it pins you against the ground or wall. Make it so after escaping a Human player is immune to being netted again for five seconds.
. Elder Sword: This is fine as is.
◼️⬜⬜⬜Predator Gear⬜⬜⬜◼️
. Audio Decoy: This is fine as is.
. Bear Traps: Make it easier to escape, but make it so the captured prey can’t Sprint or jump for thirty seconds to a minute after being caught. Also mark them while in visual sight for the Predator to know they’re being effected by the traps effect.
. Motion Detector: This is fine as is.
. Healing Kit: This is fine as is.

Assault Rifles
. QR-4: Add grenade launcher modification.
Add incindiary Grenade Launcher Modification.
. G-ROW: This is fine as is.
. AR-W: Increase Damage Drastically. Decrease accuracy. Increase Recoil.
. GOSL-R: Decrease Damage slightly, increase accuracy.
Sniper Rifles
. ABR-Z: This is fine as is.
. SAWZ-50: This is fine as is.
.7EN: Slightly Reduce Fire Speed.
Primary Special Weapons
. RP-103: This is fine as is.
. D34-D: re-add impact grenade option.
Pistols
. Grimtech19: This is fine as is.
. 1011-12: This is fine as is.
. 2XL: This is fine as it.
Shotguns
. DJL-33: This is fine as is.
. XDB-12: This is fine as is.
. CA-12: This is fine as is.
Submachine-Guns
. PDW-Z: Increase Mobility.
. ZR-55: This is fine as is.
. Z-06: This is fine as is.
Special Secondary Weapons
. S-R3D: Make it so fireteam players jog with the Minigun. Be it via a perk, weapon modification, or simple weapon mechanics change.
