Has any FT mains noticed that missions that we used to run are no longer available?

There’s a particular mission on Derailed where you secure the gold bricks, take them to the Drug Camp, place them in a crate for a double cross and then exfil. It’s been a month easily since I can remember doing that mission. Did it get removed for some reason?

I know we have limited maps and contents, but lately it’s just the same limited number of missions on repeat. Sometimes the same mission back to back.

Anyone else noticed stuff that is missing or changed?

Yeah… ive been noticing from 1.06 the devs are secrelty adding or deleting shit without us being aware… now when more people are realising it… idk…

I think they are using FTP Protocol

That mission I mentioned in particular, I haven’t even been able to get it in Private Matches playing on Derailed back to back for a period of hours. And looking back to when I first started playing this game, there’s loading screens and cinematic scenes that have disappeared as well such as the mushroom cloud view from inside the chopper and the different Predator intros… I understand if the mission was bugged and needed to be taken out so they could isolate something, but loading screens and cinematics? Why remove the aesthetic stuff which only further reinforces the feeling of repetition??

Hopefully it’ll come back with today’s update, I’m not holding my breath though…

They removed few game mechanics also… apperently my theory is to optimize PS4 performance lol… by removing content

Did the Gold brick mission yesterday.

I think you might just be having crumby RNG.

The only issue here is the game has no actual RNG mission objectives… its actually all the same it just depends which map you get and which objective u get… so people can just apperently abuse it cause its all the same and spawn 200 meters away… while pred is miles away from them xD…

BUT the game needs Sht ton of RNG

It’s not just me, that’s what’s making me question the situation. There are a dozen players in our group, we all play with different people as well and even in random publics and none of us can recall doing that mission for the longest time now. We are all on PS4, so it’s more than the RNG…but hey, it’s Illfonic after all.

Sorry about the delay, was at work… I’m on PS4 too, maybe it has to do with the times we’re playing, I’m generally on during the day, eastern time.

It is a very very minor complaint but I do wish they had mission select with option for random as match options (would wish for match time and other options even more but that’s beside the point). I really like the kill all the PMC targets one on Derailed but I don’t get it nearly as much as the others.

I searched for this topic because it just occurred to me that I haven’t seen the mission where you find and destroy those toxic barrels on Overgrowth for quite a while. Am I late in realising this or do I just have bad RNG? Has anyone else played that mission recently?

nope, i noticed that too. Haven’t played that mission since they last fixed it. Which probably was when they released their last patch.Then plpayed it maybe thrice and never saw it again.

Its not that i have any attachment to any mission whatsoever since ive played each one more than 4 dozen times.

Come to think about it, haven’t seen that one in ages either🤔 I know it was broken, because the barrels were showing as little satellite discs and you needed grenades to destroy them, so maybe they pulled it to fix that??

Yeah, back when I was showing off that each map had twelve missions, I noticed that Overgrowth Was missing the toxic barrels and the Solar panel one. And I really miss the dialogue in the solar panel one.

They took out the lever in the mission with the big ass radio dish satalite. As soon as I made a post about a certain lever for a mission ive only done twice. It was removed shortly after. We need new mission because these one are getting repetitive bland and old

Would be nice if Preds choose the map but FT get to choose the mission by voting the same way as they do for the drop in point.
