How have they not sorted the lagging yet?
Jesus, Illfonic, it’s 2020. We shouldn’t have to deal with lagging games in 2020 when next gen consoles are around the corner. I thought we’d left laggy games behind years ago.

Did you consider part of the problem might be the outdated hardware powering the PS4? Or maybe someone’s shitty internet connection?
Considering dozens of people are saying thing about the game and it was a problem during the beta, it’s not the internet connection. And how can it be outdated hardware? Friday the 13th came out years ago and it looks and plays better than this. I never once had a lag problem with that game.
Quite frankly, this game looks like a PS3 game and from the lagging, plays like one too.
Perhaps next time 20th Century Fox should get another team to make a game based of their property.
I haven’t had any lag. Just the long que times. Which are still on avg 5-10 min for me, regardless of which side I choose to go with.
The PS4 hardware was outdated laptop hardware when it was new. Even the PS5 is based on 2 generation old PC hardware.
No it doesn’t, this game runs better for me on the PS4, and my friends playing on PC have said the same thing.
Now you’re just being ridiculous
Where are you located? I’m in the Texas and if I choose no preference, I get in a match in under a minute almost every time.
East Coast. Eh sometimes i get super quick que times but avg is about 5, even when I choose no preference. Deff better than it was on Friday though for sure.
It’s definitely better for me then F13 was, my only gripe with the matchmaking is not having a persistent lobby. I’d rather just hangout for the 2 minutes to reload the game than have to find a new one every time.
Well I was talking about Friday as in a couple days ago haha. I never had an issue with lobbies on F13 save for that opening weekend when the whole game was damn near broke .
Oh ok, I haven’t played since the patch that made Jason unstunnable in Rage, but since the game launched till then I had spells where it’d take 4 to 5 minutes, and having to restart the game several times a night to get into a lobby. It was really frustrating before dedicated servers, when all that the spent trying to get into a game was wasted by a host quit.
