I threw the damn thing twice. And it didn’t down the FT people i hit…

One was kinda low, so i didnt think nothing of it, but thst second throw was a straight-up body shot. Hit makers and all and he didn’t go down… is Illfonic ninja nerfing now?..

You sure the person didn’t use a heal between the throws? Could’ve easily used a syringe during the time you ran to the spear - picked it up - selected it in the wheel and then throw it again.

It was two separate people.
I thought for sure the Combistick throw was an instant down…

No it’s big damage like 100-130 or some wild shit but not insta down

If it was thrown the head it was, unless the nerf got rid of that

I tried this in private matches in the Beta and it was indeed not an insta down to the head

Yo, it depends on a few factors. What class are they? If it’s Scout or Recon, they sit below 100 heath, don’t they? If the spear hits for 100-to-130 damage, it would be a one shotter to that guy. If they’re Assault or Support, did they have full health when you landed your shot? Or were they already low? Has it always been a one shot for you? After questions like that get answered in a public match where you weren’t able to measure damage output, the video mystery should be solved.

Sooo they don’t sit below 100? Lol so Instantly incorrect. I’m saying it’s somewhere in there I’d assume cause I know it hits like a truck, but it doesn’t 1 shot anyone, including the weakest class. And no one sits at 100 health.

Weird, I use two wristblade swipes to down a Recon Fireteam member. I also only use one spear throw to down the Recon class. Haven’t tested Scout, but I’m sure they’re in the same boat. Maybe I’ve gotten lucky with those kills, or maybe I’m right.

This is also like saying if someone has 30 health left from fighting AI and the predator chipping away with range, then dropping and hitting them with the claws and the guy instantly going down that the claws are a one shot

Well I can tell you 1 thing my friend, you are not right. 2 swipes from wrist blades will not down anyone. Unless you are talking about the AI lol

I’ve been playing the game since the moment the Beta released, went into private matches to test each weapon for both FT and Predator, yes my dude, I’m aware. Yes, health pools are in the game, so if someone is actively fighting, then can be weakened, chipped away, then you can go in and attack. But to say a weapon is a one shot because the person is already injured, again, that’s like saying after a 9 round boxing match if you KO someone you knocked them out in 1 punch. Not quite, there was a lot that led up to the final hit
