diffusing the bomb.

diffusing the bomb should NOT be a thing. its alien tech. NO HUMAN is going know the what the hell is going on. take it out of the game.

The Bomb should also be able to to takeout the helicopter.

According to what flavor text is available the fire team isn’t even any sort of special operations, they’re regular joes with no idea the Predators even exists until they spot one, much less know how to read the language of them.

EXACTLY i made a thread the other day about this. i timed my self destruct perfectly where they had to choose between the heli and the blast range. they chose the heli which shouldve been the wrong choice. because i blew up seconds later after they got on. i shouldve won.

Fireteams are starting to very consistently disarm the bomb.

Defuse should be an option, but the ease at which the FT can down a predator is the real issue

Shouldnt be eut an option sorry but the guys above have a point how can you open a highly secured metal who is probably not terrestrial by the way and disarm it wtf it’s super easy in game to do it even. So fuck instead the fireteam should have the option to drop their weapon and gear for run faster.

Im starting to think the fireteam where made in a lab with predator dna in them that’s why they understand the bomb puzzle also they can spot predator cause they put predator techloogy in to there brains so thrtr vision would be like predator or terminator scanning

Well the OWLF training perk means that canonically speaking the military has encountered Other Worldly Life Forms, and therefore has seen the technology previously, so make it so only FT members who are currently using the OWLF training perk to be able to disarm the bomb

if there are any changes to the bomb, maybe this is it, as the game takes place after 2018, and not the 80’s so the planet is aware of the predators and the alien tech. So if there is a balance between flavor and mechanics, perhaps certain perks such as OWLF Training should allow it, otherwise I don’t see a problem with it.

Its definitely more challenging since the the changes from the trial weekend, so I don’t see much wrong with it.

With the de- fuse option It has pros and cons if you can’t refuse it they will just turn around and run and nine times out of 10 get out of the area what they shouldn’t be allowed to do is all four of them can diffuse the bomb at the same time giving them much more chance of getting it done there should be an option where if they make a mistake in de-fusing the bomb it’s an instant detonation like pretty much most bombs in the world,With a more devastating impact range also players killed in the bomb should count as kills

wasn’t it confirmed that this game references events from the movies? which means they’ve encountered preds before and know the tech to some degree. not to mention there’s owlf in the game lol

Oh yeah I can disarm super fast

100% agreed, alien tech shouldn’t be defused by humans. This should be impossible as they ‘have never seen a predator before (talking in terms of the movie)’ so they shouldn’t know the language.

I personally feel the OWLF training perk should give the disarm option, non OWLF trained FT members have no experience with alien tech

One of the auto FT dialogues specifically says “What the F*** is OWLF?” when you successfully down a predator. Theres a lot of inconsistency in the game. They need to either change it so the FT members are familiar with predator tech, or not at all.

Oh boy, not another reeeeeeeealism suggestion. It’s a risk vs reward situation. You run a high risk of getting your ass blown up trying to do it AND you have to fight off quite the horde of AI to defend the body just after a fight with the Pred.
