Disable controller / gamepad support on PC? [RESOLVED]

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know a way to disable Gamepad support on PC? Maybe .ini commands?

Thanks in advance!

dont plug it in. had a trigger sensitive pad on my desk plugged in one day, thought i was going mad. Realized it was on when it vibrated. So unplugged it, then all associated weird things stopped happening while I was playing the game.

Yea just don’t plug one in

Right?

pretty sure you can go to device manager and disable it, lol

I only want to disable it in PHG only. I’m using a half controller joystick mapped to keyboard keys and when I try to sprint (marine only) and look around it cancels sprint. Issue isn’t happening when I play as the predator.

PS: The only why I can get the half controller to be detected by windows is using a 3rd party driver that makes it think it’s a 360 controller. Disabling it will disable the functions on my key binding program xpadder.

Use reWASD and it will detect your controller and map it automatically so you can sprint.

Also, try using an Xbox controller as it has full compatibility with windows.

That’s how I play too with Xbox controller and mouse simultaneously using reWASD to map my keys. It works perfectly 👌

reWASD for the win! Thanks Scarface! Took care of my issue better than the direction I was wanting to take.
