Just wondering, sometimes when I go for a difuse the symbols are changing rapidly. I looked through the perks and couldn’t find anything. Is this a glitch or does it happen under circumstances so it can’t be difused?
Disarming the predator, changing symbols?
Yeah, I’ve had this happen as well, it costed us a successful defusing in the very last moments.
I’ve been wondering if it’s a glitch when 2 or more FT members attempt the disarm at once?

I don’t think so because I’ve had other people try to do it at the same time in my fireteam and it didn’t happen. It’s only happened twice out of about 100 diffuses
Its up and down to change the symbol at the top. Thats the one you’re suppose to adjust to match the one on the bottom. Then R2 to accept and go to the next.
My issue is how to diffuse the Predator in the first place. I didn’t see a prompt, i just walked up to him. I might be wrong though.
you have to shoot his mask off before you can access it. sometimes its hard to aim at the spot too but i’m guessing your problem is not shooting off the mask. The place you have to access is hard to get too sometimes as well i found one that I had to aim at his leg to be able to use it

When time is an issue, it should be automatically done when walking up to him. Otherwise, who the hell knows how!?
me lol i’ll make a recording and chuck it on youtube so you can have a look. i’m difusing 99% of the time as long as i’m in range and I can get the mask off quick enough.
The mask shooting is the first part, i think thats easily understood. But finding the prompt is difficult.
yeah it is a bit hard to get the hang of but once you start getting it you’ll find it pretty easy it’s probably like that too make you waste a bit more time to get to it. I’m difusing some of them before he even gets out of the first laugh cycle so it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it

Why are we even able to diffuse?
Should be more difficult the diffuse the bomb and also only 1 fireteam member at the time should be able to access it. Not all of them and the fastest saves the day
probably to balance the predator being able to rip out trophies when everyone’s down. extra level of difficulty and its kind of fun to do too. Gets my heart going when it’s down to the last second lol
I end up initiating a mud up when I try to defuse it most of the time. It’s not clear at all how to initiate the defuse sequence. Ridiculously obtuse. How hard is it to give a clear indicator and button prompt?
I wouldn’t say it really balances out since defusing the bomb triggers another like minute and a half wave defense that the predator is forced to watch. Where as once all fireteam members are dead you have like 15seconds to collect your trophies for them to even count.
I can confirm now, there is a prompt telling you to hit the interact button. If someone else is doing it, i don’t think it appears.
Just happened to me last match. I went to diffuse and the first second was out of my control as the symbols went rapid scroll.

I was talking to friends and one said they had it happen to them after one got it wrong a few times so maybe it happens if you get it someone gets too many wrong
true but when you get put down he sometimes will take out a few at a time so you can be forced to watch even more if they don’t reinforce or if it has been used already. I wouldn’t be opposed to the predator having a button they can hold to finish game so they don’t have to sit through it the amount of xp they get is finished there or just scrapping the whole part that comes after and finishing the game 10 seconds after defuse
