Anyone who uses the disk, when you get a kill with it does it register for you at all? I’ve been using it since the night maps update and every time I kill a ft with it either standing or down it doesn’t register the kill. Is this a bug?

dude you got to claim them too or mash them until they have zero life (meaning they dont move) . brah smh
I know but my strat is usually knock one down with sickle then camp by and use the disk for the picker upper but sometimes I accidentally get the downed guy and it kills them but I don’t get credit for it

No because if shoot a downed player with any other rangers weapon it registers the kill also melee a downed player registers
And when you get someone down with the disk it doesnt show that red skull symbol on top of him that lets you know his location unless you come at point blank distance.

So this is a smark disk mostly smart disk downing sessions from your videos. Check the number of FT Kills at the end. Surprisingly 0.
There were aways greivances from me on my own matches where FT kills don’t line up. I nver gave it much thought. I actuall did assume a few weapons / trapss dont count as kills such as Bear Traps. So…take it for what it is.
I didnt say he was wrong, just that there was another disk issue. The thing with the kills I always assumes its cus they bleed out fast after getting hit by the disk so thats why it didnt count.
But then sometimes when they bleed out after getting shot with arrows it counts so no Idea. If the Fireteam died by the result of the he Predator actions It should count as a kill, this thing with the disk I dont think is intentional, Just another problem in the game.
You’d have to check out what will count as a kill. I see a silent claim with SD as a kill. don’t think flying disks will count. Melee should count. But I’d have to test this out.
why don’t OP creator actually do some foot work in private matches? Rather let us do all the work. It would be nice to stop asking questions and contribute to the knowledge base.

this has nothing to do with the disc. It is a known issue. If you don’t claim after you down, the kill does not count unless you kill everyone. You can claim a body long after it bled out, but you need to claim it otherwise the kill will not count. Stupid? Yes, but this is what we have to deal with
It counts as a kill if you kill the downed ft by shooting arrows at him or plasma.

I never kill anyone like that so I haven’t noticed, good info lol
Here is an example, only 1 kill by throwing the combistick on a downed ft at the chopper, others didnt manage to escape in time so its a win for the Pred, 5:30 forward.
I’ve had FT finish the mission, call the chopper, none get on it and still get “Prey Escaped” LOL

Anyone else get the disc bug where it gwts unuseable? Like, you can equip the disc but cant use it, cant throw it, cant melee with it. Usually happens mid game for some reason, or that the disc just flies away off the map😂
