I’ll change a few things, but that’s 90% of it

See you all actually draw. I’d just cheat, take a screen from my game and then run it through one hundred sketch, cartoon, and comic filters.

Blur the lines, and make it less perfect.

Boom, Da Vinci tier work šŸ˜Ž

I did cheat. This is the actual drawing but I can’t finds who’s did it to give credit. Reverse image didn’t help either.

For steps 2 and 3 things will look progressively worse. I think I overdid it with the detail. But whatever. It’s been quite some time when I was laat inspired to do something like this

Its always been a passion of mine to do art, I’ve gone steady since I was a child and I have gotten about 2 percent better in the decade that I’ve done it. I mean that. I love art, love drawing, but my stuff still looks like a šŸ„”

I personally think your work there is really good šŸ‘

Thanks, it’s still a copy, but from time to time I love doing arts and crafts and without copying I I don’t think I’d be coming back for more. My overall drawing skills are so-so but I’ve found a niche where things look half decent 😁

You know, this is kinda reminding me of some similar ongoing drama that’s happening in the WOW (World of Warcraft) Fourms between Players leaving feedback and the Developers, some secret super duper fourm and such.

Specifically Selected Players, chosen for their generally good takes and standard fourm presence would, much like here, give their own takes and suggestions to the Developers, where they would talk frequently and daily. Sounds like a dream come true here right? Wrong. It was nice at first, but it eventually led to numerous disagreements over how things should be, open condescension of the playerbase from the Developers, as well as the stubborn support of beliefs the players created and believed would ā€œfix the gameā€ or ā€œmake the game betterā€.

Nearly every time Illfonic make an appearance, every single Andy and Tommy comes out of the woodwork and says some obviously horrible take for a change that would better the game for them. (Example: Nerf/Buff Predator Nerf/Buff Fireteam, Make JH free, Make Story Mode, Add Xenos, etc.)

And then we have people who want to support with ideas, and then get mad when said ideas aren’t implemented. It’s definitely hard to see how your ideas that could be really healthy for the game don’t get in, but at the same time, it’s idiotic to pretty much attack or become unnecessarily vitriolic because ā€œBruh, some social media guy that is probably put on a quota to make some posts on actually popular social media sites, that must obviously mean that they don’t care about us, the true fans and warriors fighting for this game.ā€

I think we kinda know how things work with player feedback here, though we still fall into same traps. For the most part it’s pretty unrealistic to expect rework changes, but smaller things may get implemented. It’s interesting for the player base to have the ā€˜what if’ discussions, but we shouldn’t expect them to make it into the game. Some will make it, if they are on the same page as Illfonic’s plans and I think that’s good enough. Whatever doesn’t make it shouldnt be a deterrent for the play base to keep having the ā€˜what if’ discussions and feel like their input is worthless.

I agree wholeheartedly. I’d also like to note that while everyone likes to say ā€œOh Bro, before Illfonic even thinks of adding new stuff, they should fix all thisā€,

Only a small group of people, or small from what I’ve seen; really talked about the issues with Predator Classes. They were all too similar with one another.

Before our last Patch, Hunter, Jungle Hunter, and Alpha were Body Swaps. City Hunter is also in that boat but is technically different. Berseker and Samarai had stuff left to be desired, and Scout and Elder were fine, with the latter being a sleeper beast of a class.

Now things look pretty balanced, Alpha and Samarai unexpectedly got appreciated reworks and Predators feel diverse now. I actually have to strategize for what each Predator can do, even if they can be similar to one another.
