Yes. There are more perk specific builds now. That’s what should have been done from the start, each class having distinct passive abilities to have melee Pred, long range Pred, intermediate/close range Pred, stealthy Pred, trapper type, ect. If illfonic adds more distinct Pred weapons, Pred play will only get deeper. FT is a bit boring still, but some of it is relieved with team based communication/play.

See, about the Fireteam, I will say that it might just be a fundamental issue since regardless of class, all of them are still gonna have to perform these very basic yet essential tasks while still adhering to the old purpose of being a FPS Playstyle of “Point & Shoot”:
“Can they effectively play in a team?”
“Can they actually fight a Predator and how can this class’s properties help them in that?”
“Can they achieve some sort of Objective based gamestyle with lack of a Predator?”
It’s like how Dutch 87 is absolutely killing it in Clash, yet it is unlikely that O.W.L.F Operative will do the same, but probably will be absolutely bonkers to face in Hunt.
As a premade, FT can specialize and cover a lot of loose ends. As randoms, you want to have top HP and gaarhead most likely so you can survive preds assault and heal. Kinda dumbed down
