Trainers were little external programs people used in the early 2000’s to modify savegames, activate cheats, etc.

My assumption is that they are so broke or just straight up low-lifes that they get pirated versions of the games so they can modify them to a certain degree. One of my friends has done it with using certain specializations on classes that they don’t belong to. So, it’s possible.

Yeah it was very tiny and it was sorta blocked by his camera feed screen. But it was Black background and white letters. So it was visible behind his camera feed.

Due to the way how the loadouts are saved locally, it is 100% possible.
If I had the coding knowledge, I could easily create a Trainer to modify the File where the Loadouts are stored.
I tested a lot stuff with this file regarding loadout related bugs, and even found out it was possible to play DLCs like the JH without owning them.
The only good news about this is that you can prevent nearly 100% of the loadout related bugs by just making the file “read-only”.
But I doubt Illfonic got this as a priority.

So in this image. The mask is always visible on his mini map? Or is active longer than the spot?
Cause if its active longer than the spot then thats the perk Tracker or whatever its called. In my experience it stays 2 seconds after the spot goes away that is visible in game and not on the mini map
No, the mask icon is always diferent. Idk what the purpose of it is, but it’s just very odd.

No, what Scarface meant is that this specific Icon with the green mask changes.
Sometimes there is a black dot on it, then on other occasions it looks different.
This indicates that the accused person is modifying his game.
Meanwhile the same accused person wants to show people “how to become a good predator”. lmao

Of course. It’s a game, no different than any other royally fucked by hackers games out there. Everything is possible. The only thing that has prevented it from being hacked the same as other games is that this is not a competitive game and literally nobody makes money from it or achieves anything other than bragging rights.

The thing about it is rather that people keep coming back with arguments that our team is using old or outdated hacks that have already been fixed or are pointless to use, like the netgun macro.
While some respected members of this community, who are considered top tier predators hack the shit out of this game to gain advantages against top tier Fireteams.
My part in all of this is just to find out how these exploits work and report them to illfonic.

I understand now. I have seen a different variation the colors I was thinking they were color blind settings. Then I saw one the the black dot you were talking about and stayed on his mini map for the entirety of the match. And also a time when his mini map was actively larger than normal.
I have seen this from whom I believe you are referring. I question that on his stream and was left unanswered then was banned from chatting after I continued to press the issue.

Myself, JelouGaming, Dread lock and Macelaro where going up against this pred yesterday, he was very good, but the boys were saying he is using macros or some sort of cheat (something to do with jumping and shooting the bow at the same time)
My problem was not his gummy-bear fight style, it was the INSANE amount of damage he took from us, and still managed to survive
I know City Hunter class and I know what perks to use in order to make it more survivable, but that guy was immune to bane
