I honestly donât think thereâs a comparable market for Jason products though. Weâre talking about a creation thatâs once in a lifetime. Big Chap and Jungle Hunter are pretty big money makers, considering theyâre just a bunch of stupid alien monsters.
Yes, but how does something being a âpre-order bonusâ stop a company from pursuing monetary gain from it sometime down the line? And contrary to what they might claim? It doesnât. I mean, I care about people getting it because itâs one of the most popular and interesting monsters ever created. Both Big Chap and Jungle Hunter are up there with the original Dracula, Mummy, Frankenstein and Wolfman. Itâs a crime that youâd release a game and not want to make money off of something thatâs as iconic as all that.
Sure, maybe you roped in fair amount of pre-orders than you would have gotten otherwise, but now that the install base is dwarfed, by miles, compared to the players that have come into the fold after release⌠well, it seems like a giant waste. Itâs akin to staring down at the ocean after a shipwreck spills gold everywhere and youâre not even bothered enough to dive in after it.
I mean, with the mask, I guess that could supplement it, but itâs still not the same. Iâd say he would have to be made pretty close to the Jungle Hunter, just with the dentless mask. The sales on it would still be shit by comparison.

You only want JH87 to roleplay. I hardly ever use him unless Iâm trying to roleplay or interpret a specific predator that shares a similar armor set or shade. Why would they monetize him? Why? That idea could be considered a shady business practice considering how pointless the purchase would be. Youâd be paying $10 or more for a fuckinâ skin. Fortnite, Smite, Paladins, Dauntless, and so many other games have skins for $20+ and all they offer IS (A) COSMETIC ITEM(S).
The whole argument around it being elitism is the entire point of preordering for the skin!! You preordered it to support the game and you got JH87 to show that! You want them to relinquish that so you and many others can play with him twice, get bored, and use a different class. This entire debate has bore no fruit and only led to people whining about not having it and those that do telling them that they shouldâve preordered. It is the right of those that preorder to use the skin to show their support for the game or even flex! Who cares!? It. Is. A. Skin

I mean, if youâre talking about the Predator Pack, not necessarily. See, if youâre just coming to the game and you see all these preds that you wanna buy, but donât wanna shell out $7 for each, you can buy the pack for $8 less. Smort savings. Although, it wouldâve been easier and more practical to release a Season Pass or FT pass along with it. $20-30 for the Season Pass wouldâve been much more practical regarding a spike in sales

They may have the same stats, but the default Hunter is akin to Episode III Darth Vader, while I would equate the Jungle Hunter to episode IV Darth Vader. Obviously, the original is far and away the better of the twoâin both cases. Anyone who says otherwise is an uncontested retard.
Also, this entire game is about visuals. Locking away the iconic Predator âskinâ is pretty stupid, from a business standpoint. Youâre making literally zero money off of it. Itâs just sitting there building capital that will never be cashed in, or so they say.
And anyone who is against the company actually making money off of the skin is merely taking that stance because they want to indefinitely flaunt a virtual skin, like some kind of mouth-breathing, window licking, paint-chip eating moron. None of the iconic film shit should be locked behind a now archaic business tactic. Everyone should be against that kind of mess.
Donât make a big budget Batman game and then lock the â89 Batman skin behind a pre-order that you donât intend to open for purchase later. Thatâs a massively stupid business decision and I would fire the first person responsible for such a dumb ass maneuver.
