After extensive testing today I finally narrowed down a bug I’d been having for quite awhile.
It appears that if you bind “Leap/Branch Switch” you will not be able to leap whilst in Second Wind.
I know some people have this issue. Don’t use this binding
Predator has way too many “key combos” and most of them are flat out broken.
There’s even a jump/leap/interact key which basically just leaps. You won’t be able to jump or climb trees

set a seperate bind for leap only
I have Space as jump only
L-Alt as branch change / climb tree
and Thumb mouse button as leap
not talking that when you try to leap next to a downed FT sometimes the key bindin will force you to quick claim him @_@
I have had this issue many times and I dont bind any buttons? I’m on console so it may be more than one thing causing it?
I have almost all key combos disabled. I use thumb mouse button for leap, space bar for jump. I am still able to climb/switch branch with the jump only button
I’ve had suspicions that there may be other bugs causing Predator to not be able to leap during second wind. Sadly those suspicions have yielded mixed results, therefore I haven’t been able to isolate the cause for the other bugs but this was definitely one of them.
Arnie would you be down to a voice to voice conversation so as I can get some info from you? Perhaps your experiences might help narrow some of the variables which I can’t seem to eliminate.
Yeah of course , but I’ve not the faintest idea about what might do it . More often than not its fireteam I play but the times I have played pred , it doesn’t happen everytime and I dont mix up the loadout that much either . Usually I tend to stick to what i know
