Stalking people (analogue fasion, old-school - no use of social media or other crutches) is almost as exhilerating as killing. Generally, though, if you’re stalking someone they aren’t gonna fight back if you jump them with intent to murder, which makes said murder less enjoyable. When I was young enough to creep around and hide in bushes silently (as well as move fast enough), I most certainly kept my stalking and my homicide as seperate activities. The only time I’d kill someone who I’d stalked is if they were a serial killer (for the poetic irony) or rapists (because I deny rapists the dignity of having an opportunity to injure me - same reason I generally wear an armoured cummerbund nowadays, gut wounds are more irksome than lethal and the people stupid enough to deliberately go for the gut wouldn’t last long anyway).
