I usually do follow the code. I do also play with my prey too much, lol. But sometimes I do go Bad Blood (I have a loadout specifically labelled Bad Blood for when I choose to do so though). That said one time my friend that was the last FT alive got himself like hard ambushed by a ton of AI in a small area and was downed. I killed the AI and while I didn’t claim him I did kinda mercy kill him to end his misery while he was pathetically crawling around with nobody left to save him anyway, lol.
Question: I’m undecided on what weapons I want for the Bad Blood loadout and keep playing with different combinations. What loadout would potentially be the cheapest, least honorable one? Currently using Netgun and Plasma Pistol as it does feel really dirty, lol.

I think as long as you feel powerful and dirty while doing it.

But the biggest act would be to Plasma caster or range kill a FT member trying to one vs one in melee.
With the their butter knives.
Thats being a Bad Blood.
Now if only the game let you kill other Yautja, then you’d really be a Bad Blood.

Haha listen, i played yesterday with 2 fireteam guys…with headphones the both of us… i had 87 predator…i find them and i was mimicry…he tell me we are 2 dont fuck with us… OK… we kinda turn it to fun…but, this guy was a kinda asshole…i killed the first one, and we end 1 vs 1…he chased me and speak shity talk… Net gun him…and leave… He tell me pu#&y… I return… Uncloaked…shoot me… Runnin away… I return…shity talk all the way…my patient was zero…him, with his knife… Me take out the bigger knife… Him, shity talk again… Ok…( Yauja code is for guys with honor… This guy dont deserve honor… He was deserve to die with every possible way from the beggining… If i could skin him Alive i would do it… Anyway as you imagine…he rest in pieces…

In the movie it seeks to slaughter the men that carry a weapon.
The downed FT members. They can’t shoot you, they’re bleeding out. They can’t fight back. Doing anything but claiming them as a trophy is dishonourable.
I just play the game to try and win. None of this code shit.

Well…
I cannot really see the code applied to the game in that way. As I see it the bleeding out mechanic is there to give the solider a revive chance in case he still has team mates. If he was a lone player or the last man standing he would technically be dead already as there would be noone to get him up. So killing him off when he is already down with a claim instead of killing him of with a plasma burst, and he still has team members, is pretty much just a question of if you want to use him as bait, you want to jump to end result anyway (ofcourse there is the question of wanting the score of the Long Claim if he can still get the revive) or you want the team to get back up all the time and likely win the game, unless they completely screw up.
In the movies the Predator did not claim the trophy before the oppenents were completely dead several times: Blain and Mac.
The only situation where I can see the code be applied to this game in its current state is if you melee face off the last living FT member out of respect. Could be a mode at the end with greater gain for the winner.
What if you shoot the barrel that downs them as a timed explosive knowing that it’s going to kill them?
Or for that matter, if you disable them enough knowing that the AI will kill them.
In both these cases it’s a deliberate kill.
only claims and explosions (end nuke), actually count to predator kill count.
At least on PC, don’t know about PS.
If you do not claim the skull or kill them in the final explosion you will not get a kill registered on PC.
Even if you stand over them and drive an arrow into their head because they are not worthy of a claim.
I sort of role eyes when I see people over complicating the Predator ‘philosophy’. Seems over the years people have just copy-pasted Klingon culture onto it.
It’s quite simple if you take the first film as your primary source (which I do). Predator is a hunter, hunting dangerous animals. Humans with weapons are dangerous animals to him, therefor any human with a weapon is fair game at any time. Just look at the deaths of Hawkins, Blain, Mac and Poncho - they were hardly some noble, one-on-one battle of equals, and Dillon is toyed with like a cat toys with a mouse. Only Billy and Dutch get anything close to a ‘duel’.
Predator primarily views humans with weapons as a big game hunter would view a tiger, not as some adversary who is to be respected at an equal level.

Do you know when/if this changed?
We tested this 1.06-ish and a claim was not needed for credit, just the killing blow.
The claims just gave different amounts of xp (long vs short claim).
Just don’t let them bleed out or die to barrels or AI pretty much.
I always let the last guy call for reinforcements.

on PC I have never seen anything besides a claim or end explosion count as a kill for pred.
And the end explosions doesn’t always count (they show as dead but don’t always show in the kill count).
About to start a match I’ll try to reproduce and post a vid.

Very good idea. It would be great if they provide us with such ability in game.
But let’s be realistic… Even a simple clan system sounds unlikely. Devs can’t even fix bugs and just adding useless DLC with Dutch(a’m not saying that it’s totally shit, but cmon, ppl were waiting for some game mods or maps). I don’t think that we will see such feature in neares DLC.
Actually, all this situation is look like a No man’s Sky story: game was out of any content and community started making it by themselves. That’s good, but sad(

Yeah, when there is only one FT left I decloak and only use melee weapons, or if a FT actually puts up a fight.

So that game that was meant to start crashed, and I’m still trying to get into another game for over an hour.
