A bit like the whole Tommy Jarvis Mechanic in F13 but instead of it being a player in the match there should be a 1/10 chance you will just be randomly dropped into a match with an existing predator against the FT and the Predator.

Would certainly make for an interesting mechanic.

I would make it so that the FT are worthless or low value targets though and their only goal is to kill a loyal Yautja.

Should he a fixed load out and skin though to differentiate.

Finally got into a game.
(don’t judge the gameplay on this as it’s hack and slash)

Full 4K is still processing on youtube so if you want to wait an hour you can all see it properly in 4k.

However, here is a bomb detonation that gives zero kills to the predator (I bring up the score board multiple times to try and show this).

I will attempt to reproduce the bow kill, plasma kill and blade kill tomorrow

This doesn’t always happen on detonation, sometimes it will give all the kills on the scoreboard (mostly not but sometimes).

The self destruct kills have always been a bit wonky for me also. I see you have one kill and it is not increased when you blow up. It could be a bug or because you were eliminated before you actually exploded?

I am pretty sure if you do not get the killing blow, you can claim a corpse, and you will not get credit for the kill. Claim or not I am pretty sure you need to deal the killing blow and be alive. The being alive is new to me, I had not realized that until your video.

I would be happy to test this out with you, what is your time zone? I am North America central (utc-5). I am usually home from work and available after 3:30pm central.

And as you pointed out, I’d wait for the scoreboard for verification.

I have one kill from a quick claim to piss them off.
You can’t be alive if they are trying to disarm (that’s just not how the game works), but sometimes the kills count and sometimes they don’t.
Same with every kill that is not a claim. 80% of the time they don’t count. but sometimes they do.

but for real i prefer give FT team a chance when i realise i can easly kill them, i bring them down easly without killing them however if one goes too far of his group i start a Predator (1987) scénario and start to pick them one of slowly one by one, and of course for the last survivor i announce my arrivial in a loud roar before charging him with my wristblade.

What I am guessing here is that if you self destruct and are not being disarmed (so still alive) you may get credit for any FT caught in the blast.

That would explain some of the discrepancies at least. Assuming it is just not plain old bugged.

Predator kills not tracking

It sometimes gets wonky once the chopper has been called, but Saularian and I tested this in private matches. We came to the conclusion that the Predator must get the killing blow on the FT for kill credit. A claim is not needed for kill credit (only for rewards). Also from my experience, if you down 3-4 at one time they can start to bleed out before you can get around to claiming them all. Any FT that has bled out, you can still claim them, but you will not get a kill count for. So if the FT …

I’m not sure what the disagreement here is. Claiming is fine and honourable, letting them bleed out happens. Hitting them while attacking someone else happens, but targeting them with attacks on purpose is dishonourable.

I’m also wondering if it is related to second wind.
As we have seen with posts about the weekly, second wind seems to inadvertently effect certain mechanics.

So update to this per testing done with @splifftor and myself.

Does the Predator get kill credit for FT member when:

• FT is killed in the bast radius when Predator Detonates while dead: no kill credit
• FT bleeds out on the ground: no kill credit
• FT is killed by Predator while bleeding out (we used bow): yes kill credit
• FT is killed by Predator while bleeding out after second wind (we used bow): yes kill credit
• FT bleeds out and is claimed after death: no kill credit

What this also means is that if the FT attempted to disarm and fail ending in their death. The pred does not get any credit for their death. Even though technically it was a deliberate attack that killed them.

Well, the self nuke is more of a way to keep them from taking the evidence of your existence. Killing them is just a bonus.
