i dont get what this comment is trying to prove?, are we really saying because everyone else is doing that means we can’t criticize this game for being unfinished?
lets face it, updating games was meant as a way to add more content to an already finished product, not to sell an unfinished game and THEN finish it later

The people in here defending the devs for selling what’s basically an unfinished game are mind-blowing. “Be grateful for what you have been given.” It’s about ethical business practices and selling this game in its current state for $40 is unethical.

Illfonic is a small studio that’s clearly working hard to fix the issues. I’m sure Sony is just fine, they’ve dealt with much worse.
Fixes have come and will continue to. But it’s going to take some time.
Of course they are lol. But then again they probably didn’t invest much into it since they got bigger exclusives coming and I can see this game’s player base dwindle like crazy unless they pull out some really good content worth staying around. Idk if it’ll have that kind of staying power cause the predator franchise is going the way of the rest of the 80’s horror icons just relics of the past.

I don’t think the devs are gonna leave this game dry like this. I mean, they wasted months of their lives creating something that is a potential income for them. The fact they are a bit silent reminds me of No Man’s Sky. That game had a horrible launch, it was pummeled to the ground with criticism, bad reviews and what else more is worse, yet, they kept silent for months till one day they started pumping out patches and content one after the other, and now that game is fairly good, people are enjoying it. I hope Illfonic is one of those cases, where they filter our comments, trying to find what the community suggests and fix/improve the game. Until then, guess all we can do is play and/or wait.

I just paid $40 for a game still in Beta. I love this game. I don’t want to pay money for an unfinished game. Are you by chance affiliated with the studio executives buddy?

Illfonic is a small company with near nothing and nobody, so they do what they can.
Sony had all the power in the world to send them more dev’s, more time, more deadlines, more creative everything.
Sony could’ve, but doesn’t look like Sony did.
