So I came in as Predator on Excavation and upon entering the game I used the Target isolation as soon as it was available…nothing…no pigs…
so i journeyed to one of the stargazer buildings killed about 3-4 of them stargazer troopers, the next thing you know BAM!! Upon my next Target isolation, pigs appeared about equal to the amount i’ve killed in stargazer units…
can anyone else confirm this bizarre circumstantial coincidence?

Its more likely the first isolation was too soon for pig spawns.
Woah, if anyone one does test it let us know. That could change the opening minutes of the match.
I tried. Not a single pig per match.
I run a private match in solo - map is swarming with pigs.
I run a quickplay match - no goddamn pigs.
This wierd…
Well that kinda sucks, I was hoping it was a number of npc’s deal, where you could maybe take a minute to run over to a camp and ensure at least a couple pigs.
The part I find funny is, as FT I see pigs constantly, but my Pred games I can’t find them for the life of me.
Did you kill any stargazers (both at a base or outside of base) then try the target isolation again?
I was doing in Quikplay random matches on mine…this is where it happened to me. Playing as pred thats important (and FT didn’t kill any for me before I found mine).

oh well, ill keep trying. Too bad because the trade off would have been nice.

I don’t think stargazer kills are relevant.
It seems to me that the spawn requirement is how long the spawn master (= host player, room master) stays in the area.

I believe the pigs have a spawn time limit. They start to spawn at 13:15 in the game and start despawning around 4:45.
When im the pred and its near the end of the round I can never find pigs ever.
If you need boars you are bad pred. You deserve to be sprayed in the face with water bad pred bad

I almost never kill AI. Once I went into an area and there was goddamn 5 pigs in the same location, don’t think I had killed any AI.
