I’m trying to be sneaky while playing this game but what’s the point if my cloak doesn’t even help. I crouch and turn on my cloak and the ft still sees me. Are they hacking or am I using cloak wrong. Btw I go invisible before they can see me. But they somehow still find me

Cloak isnt Perfect. You are invis only if you staying still
They can see you change vision mode too. If you’re on PC they can turn the settings down so low cloak is completely useless (so Ive heard). You also still cast shadows on the floor and bleed profusely when wounded. Also if you’re wounded standing still no longer works.

Here’s some advice: Don’t play as predator. It’s like trying to get through all the seasons of Lost. You’ll end up dissappointed. Just admire the customization menu and wait till they make a photomode.

You’re not supposed to be sneaky you’re supposed to pop around corners and tag people with arrows faster than they can react. It’s dumb but its an arena shooter not a stealth game right now.
We just had an encounter with the Samurai Pred. 20 seconds in to the encounter and he was into self-destruct. Whats the wait time right now? 8:39 estimated wait time for predator play. PLAY FORTNITE! Thsi game doesn’t want you!

Cloak unironically makes you more visible as a clicking shimmering glowing grey blob. You’re stealthier with it off because of bad design decisions and a good FT sees you coming before you get to stand still & even then they can hear you directionally and guess where you are.
If you want to catch people by surprise you play with cloak off before you sprint over due to the clickings big dumb radius. They could atleast make it so clicking doesnt echo into the horizon & is more of a thing for when the pred is right behind you but whatever.
