Insurance is a great industry 👍
Does everybody here currently.....
Insurance is based on fear.
What you provided to a community. Not what you’ve done to be social -because thats just fluff.
Or math…🤨
Plumber or electrician. They make very good money.
If you’re a plumber, try and stay with new construction, so you don’t deal with ancient poops in ancient pipes.
Electricians are always busy, but you should definitely learn other aspects if it, like data wiring etc to expand opportunities. Usually work inside too.
Carpenters make decent $, but not as good as the others. And depending on your company etc, you may need many other skills, like light plumbing, electrical, hvac etc to step in as needed. All of which makes you more valuable.
Most Unions will pay you to train, assuming you get in.
Just don’t develop the “Union mentality” so many start to get over time. You owe nobody anything and you always have the freedom to leave and strike out on your own if you want to.
or the publics propensity to end in death because of the meds they are dependent on. you know people who are obese and continually rely on injections.
I guess I mean if you designed any web pages etc. That kinda stuff mostly. Like I said, just what I’ve been told. Goodness knows I’m no expert there.
Yeah if thats what you mean… What you’ve done in the past and what tools and things you’ve learned and bring to the company. But its an ongoing thing. You never stop learning as things change. Not that i know anything about it…
as I hit ocean water and let that ice cold droplets hit my hardened scar ridden face. As i gaze upon the overcast skies and feel the king crab heat glowing underneath the waters. I only know the meat of king crab pays for my small cabin in the woods where my wife and child huddle against the fireplace in which i built myself.
– and as the day turns to night, i know that in a few hours I will face death.
The temperature drops to nearly -30 degrees centigrade.
and the blowing winds of the sea deafen my audibility.
I put on my wet suit and still feel cold as nothing but a thin layer of gortex shield me from this extreme environment.
A row boat was just an expression !!! For I would be shamed as being emotional on a boat of this motely crew.
This talk of ‘other’ employment would prove hostile as life on this boat was made up of killers, theives, and conmen.
Bro wut? I don’t work in health insurance
Sounds about right.
Occupational therapy. I shitpost during lunch break because labor laws exist.
100% true and people going to college for liberal arts degrees and for shit like journalism are part of the problem.
But protip: Military can pay off your student loans. And the added bonus of disability checks. They’re sitting on a lot of money for no reason, use it.
Don’t be afraid of insurance as an industry. The sue-happy world we live in, insurance is a necessary evil now. Plus, just being an agent doesn’t make you a johnson-head. Being a johnson-head makes you a johnson-head. I’ve had some good agents over the years. Some bad too, but mostly good.
Any industry you’re in, you have to remember that all businesses are a service. If you provide bad service, you’ll do poorly. If you think yourself above those you’re trying to provide your service to, it’ll reflect in the business and you’ll fail eventually. There’s literally no legit job that doesn’t come with pride in a job well done, be it plumber, cop, attorney, doctor or janitor. Society can’t exist without all of them and whatever you choose, determine every day to be the best version of it.
I’m a plumber and a pilot
You’re crushing
I work in front of a computer all day so, yeah, downtime means forum/facebook/instagram/youtube shenanigans.
Thankfully I don’t have a boss looking over my shoulders and asking me to grab a broom and sweep around when there’s any downtime.
pretty much the #1 reason why so many people are in debt with student loans and complain they ended up working as a bartender, but would not for anything in the fucking world leave that job because as much as they complain about low salaries and getting stiffed, they know they make more than working in any other industry that doesn’t require a degree or involves a health/security hazard
I’m a staff sergeant in the US Army
Active duty but not deployed…atm
It’s why i have so much time on my hands
Neato. I signed up years ago, but they didnt take me
My job is related to gaming :(
