Yes!!
I’m usually here AT my job. Its why I engage so much because for eight hours I’m just back and forth on the different subforums.
Yeah you made it clear the rental place.lol. Now ill remember forever my fav cartoon and car rentals.
Full time job. Just take lots of poop breaks!😁
I do too. I just think this place and people here need a little love to get the fuck out. and move the fuck on.
I think being a college athlete counts.
😂😂
thats not…well ok.
I haven’t had a job for a few months, and I’ve been pushed to go to college and it would be a better financially to go into college without a job first, but when the snow stops, I’ll probably just get another job n eventually go to trade school.
I’m a currently part-time machinist. Going full-time in a few months
I work in insurance. I just take frequent breaks
i row a boat for a living. From the Atlantic to the Pacific in between landshapes…its atought job. Catching King Crab.
That’s badass man
Some days our cages almost crush my body to a bloody pulp. Thats what happened to dear ol’Sal, :(. We had to hose down the boat then had we a quite moment.one of these nights ill have to tell you folk all about it.
DO NOT. GO TO COLLEGE unless your career field can’t be entered without it, like law or medicine. That’s frickin lifelong, no escape debt you don’t need. If you’re going into a trade, great. The trades desperately need good new blood. Just make sure your heads not up your rear, or you get laid off and never called back. Depending on the trade, you can make good money. And learn how to invest early, in long term, more secure stuff like gold n silver and not go out sleazing and boozing and you’ll be set. Sure, you’ll work hard and long hours some days, but would you rather have $100k in the bank after saving for 4 yrs and living cheaply or owe $100k+ interest for some bull crap you didn’t even want to do?
Think hard, young padawan, and don’t let ANYONE pressure you into something you don’t like.
Insurance is also a lucrative field. If you own your own office and sell insurance from several firms, you can do very well. My agent has it made in the shade, but his job seems boring.
I’ve been unemployed since 2007 but get disability checks and federal grade Marijuana since my time in the service
How about IT dude? It aint not trade, or aristocratic economy, but if you’re dilengent and seek opportunities ,you learn and make good money. I was in the courior economy…back breaking stuff delivering goods because of the Death Stranding but now I’m sailing the ocean seas! picking up King Crab along the way… you must have caught me on the TV shows called the Deadliest Catch. I’m on there. The guy who lived to sail another day.
Yeah that’s what I’ve been saying & I agree with all of what you said. I just want a skill/trade that will always be useful to myself and others that will keep me financially stable enough to fund a homestead.
Well, that’s a job, sure, which tbh, I don’t know much about, except what I’ve heard from friends who are in it. Depending on location, I hear IT people are a dime a dozen. A very large pool of applicants for a limited number of jobs. And people I personally ally know at Google have told me that Google in particular would rather see what you’ve done in social media etc on your own, rather than just a diploma. They want to see what you’ve actually done. They train people how they want them trained. How accurate is this info? Who knows, it’s just what friends/clients have told me (client told me they could even train an old fart like me, so I guess there’s some truth to it.)
