Down but no second wind?

So playing Scout my predator melee attacked instead of shooting an arrow (mother fuck) and I got melted and instantly downed having never gone into second wind. Is this a bug?

I got nothing then man lol.
A random guerrilla decided to shoot you with the ft. Snuck out of the camp to hunt you xD.

So many bugs it’s hard to say what happened.

i second winded a scout and melted him using lmg in mere seconds.

i never had that happen. ever… through over 500 predator games. Only thing that happened to me twice was ai killed me in second wind

There’s a cool-down meter for second wind, at the start of match the Predator has a gauge on left-hand-side that’s blue for second wind.

Once second wind has been used, that meter takes time to re-fill before second wind can be used again.

If that meter is not 100% full the Predator will not go into second wind and only be able to use Self Destruct before fatally shot.

There’s a perk called Impatient I believe that costs 2 points, which allows your second wind meter to refresh at a faster rate.

I never went into second wind ever in that match. Just downed into auto destruct.

I kept thinking to myself “Why are these folks explaining to you what may have happened/how second wind works. Didn’t they watch the video!??!!?”
