Dumbest, least balanced patch I think I've ever seen

don’t warry reinforsement are still op and you can revive all of your teamamate, fire team is still stronger than predator. Just wait for more balance change next weeks. Keep it up with correct feedback that’s the only thing we can do right now.

Agree, I think we need more nerf to melee (more nerf to perry as well) and more buff to the bow and smart disc. Hope to see this in order to be able to play like a real PREDATOR. Predator noise fix is still need at the moment.

It’s been a combo melee pred every game yeah. Problem is even if I mange to get to the reinforce radio most of all of my team have already ragequit because they were killed right at the start.

Yeah it’s totally balanced that the knife could kill a predator quicker than any of Pred’s melee weapons, it’s totally balanced that you could 2 shot his mask off and take half his health at the same time, it’s totally balanced that you could parry nearly every one of his attacks, it’s totally balanced that you can revive your entire team in 15 seconds yeah I can go on but all I’m going to say is get off your high horse and stop acting as if there weren’t balance issues thinking you’re better than everyone lmfao

Fire Team main confirmed.

I didn’t say there weren’t balance issues. I said you were losing because of your lack of skill. If you EVER and I mean ever lost to a knifing FT member, you’re garbage and need to practice. Simple as that. I also have said here before, I don’t think I’m that good, I’m average. So if I could sweep the FT in most matches, so could the majority of you.

That get good argument is flawed. Why should the predator have to be skilled when the fireteam doesn’t? I can’t say what it’s like now but if you deny that it’s a problem then you’re the reason this game won’t last long.

They both need to be skilled. The difference is more players are probably used to playing as FT as it’s basically ur run of the mill shooter. Playing as Pred is a little different. He’s got more systems to learn.

It’s not that FT is skilled dude. It is a standard FPS play style. We all are (or should be) used to playing this play style. The predator is an original and new type of play style this developer has introduced. With that, it takes time to become skilled at this.

My brother is an above average to excellent gamer. He started as Pred and played differently, and easily wins 80% of his matches. He adapted to the play style.

I got my ass kicked as Pred the first 5-10 matches. Then I started doing things differently. Haven’t lost since. Have had some really close calls, but have always pulled it out.

My point is not how they play but what they have. It takes 0 skill to throw down 3 medkits, use 2 syringes, bring back your whole team in 15 seconds, spam melee to parry etc. The predator has to think and use strategy (which is how it should be) whereas the fireteam can be so brain-dead and still win because of how hard they countered predator with their tools.

I agree it should take skill to play both sides. But before the patch it only took skill to play the predator whereas the fireteam could be brain-dead and still at the very least come close to killing predator because of how powerful their tools were and how much of them they had.

Eh not really. Once you figured out what you were doing as a Predator, going against less than skilled FT members was a cake walk. They’d split up, throw down item pick ups in the middle of the open, try and chase you down when they “thought” you were injured, try to take u down 1 at a time, etc. I mean Iv had matches last less than 5 minutes because the FT f***ed up so badly. And yes, Iv recorded those matches.

The difference was new players vs new players, yes the FT had an advantage because they’re basically playing a game they’ve played countless times before where as the Pred player was trying something, for the most part, that was unique.

Well, you could just google the term you are unfamiliar with :)

Anyway, PUG (Pick Up Group) usually refers to random players in your team that you see for the first time or just been randomly assigned to you.

Did you try not being bad at video games? Or do you like to just play games where the side you like the most is over powered and you don’t have to get good at the game before you win evry single time? IU have a bunch of hrs in fps games. Over 10k. I found it still easy as pie to kill the predator. Only difference is that it is slightly harder and instead of just standing in the open and shooting him in the head I have to take cover sometimes.

It’s your fault your bad. Not the games.

Did you try hitting the people with the plasma caster or the bow? Or do you just miss and call the game bad cause I’m literally mollywopping every FT all day baby. They’re all aggressive and im pooin down their throats let them spot me idgaf its’ up to you to l2p buddyboy.

If people don’t understand that their strength in being together is not a balance problem, it’s people trying to eat soup with a fork. If you try to shoot from the handle of a pistol and fall into your leg, this is not a weak pistol, you are a little dumb. do you understand? But I agree that the predator survival buff was superfluous, although people say that he did not change anything de facto. I would trade this survival buff for damage.

On the contrary I find this to be much better than what it was. It should be much harder for the Fireteam to survive than the Predator to kill them. That’s the point of the game. The point isn’t to just dominate the Predator. The fireteam has to use coordinated teamwork to win/survive.

Even after this update though, I personally haven’t been killed by the Predator. I haven’t killed and chased him down like before either though. So in my opinion, good update.
