I’m just gonna say it. According to the Lore. Dutch has a forearm mounted Plasma Caster adapted from “Hunter” Technology. It is acknowledged in “Stalking Shadows”. Illfonic needs to implement this for the Dutch Class being that Stalking Shadows is the prequel novel to “Hunting Grounds”.

sorry just mean that all classes of weapon should be available for either slot. Like if you wanted a Shotgun and a Pistol or SMG.
Oh I can agree with that. No primary/secondary designations for FT so they are like Predator and can equip what they want for each slot.

Yeah but that book was awful and the guy writing it was clearly just in it for the paycheck. Very worksmanlike chore to read. Same guy who wrote that alien sequel where survivors were wrestling aliens and swinging them around by their tails, doubt he gives a shit about lore in either franchise.
Am I the only person that finds these storylines repulsive? I’d prefer to never see humans using predator weapons outside of comic books and the only reason comics get a pass is because comics by nature are bonkers

I mean, Predators in lore also find that shit repulsive due to their way of life being endangered but it’s a big part of the lore/story and EU if you wanna talk about how Humanity advances and especially about AvP.

I haven’t read the book, but it leaves me to question the forearm gear Dutch 2025 has that is Predator tech. i thought…welll…what is he going to blow himself up?
It’s just dumb to me personally. The core of the predator story is man vs beast. Like predator hunting humans. As soon as that narrative is changed it gets way less compelling. Once humans have predator weapons it just becomes this big sci-fi over the top nonsense I just can’t get into. Again that’s completely subjective it’s just to me, what makes predator a compelling franchise gets lost when you add these elements

That’s perfectly understandable. It gets over the top for me when there’s the implication of a full on “Predator Invasion” of Earth even if that’s kind of already happened in the story.
