dude we bought this game (50 quid) for it not to work most of the time, and now just pull another money grab scheme. i now starting to have feeling this is just a money grab game. if anyone want to play a game what is so much better than this, grab ure xbox 360 (maybe other consoles) and play AVP, its not letterd with bugs (servers are down so the campaign is the only thing BUT its really good) its not letterd with weak ass weapons, it not has OP FT in it. why do we need to spend more money on a game what acts like a demo. u made a PAID roadmap and thats it smh. this game is gonna be a failure. the reason why f13th was so amazing is because it acquire no paid dlc unless if its a kill pack or a emote pack there was NO PAID DLC, when a new jason or councler came out there was no pay wall to play as them just a level gap. i liked it when ure a certain rank u get blood or character’s but in phg its like "buy this to get dutch and level up to get a 100% success rate each time when u play as FT. fux ure game and stop making this game a money grab, ure game wont last another 4 months just gonna say, if u gonna keep this up. smh

Precisely… Not alot of people understand the absolute nightmare that is “coding”, and many people here have never written a program before in their life and it shows.
Has any of these whiners ever tried writing a simple program before, and had to deal with the damn compiler screaming “Error!” at you time after time. The complexities of game engines and their mechanics aren’t like writing “Hello World” in Python, you’ve also got to do alot of mathematics and logic flows in your head as you go…but most people think they can pull a fully working, flawless game out of their asses at will.
Look at Red Dead Redemption online, that game has so many issues and bugs AND has billions of dollars at its disposal and yet Rockstar still struggles to patch what appear to be “simple bugs”. I’m sure if illfonic had that Rockstar budget things would be quicker, but they don’t AND the working conditions under this global pandemic is also slowing things down. Everyone is at home and using the internet, servers all over the world at being worked beyond normal capacity. So on top of the actual bugs in the game, they also have the headache of trying to debug the server issues…

I haven’t played Friday 13th yet, but keep hearing that it’s good. Everyone in here seems to really rate it, so I’m tempted to buy it. I know I’m late to that party but does it still have a healthy player base? I mean, if I buy it am I going to find that I can’t play because there’s hardly any players??
well we “lame ass people” is blaming them because if they dont have budget to make a game where it has huge franchise init why the fuck they would release the game so early with low budget and no content a part from bugs and weaponary what holds up the game for 13 min. then they just decide to release a paid road map with no other content part from weapons and a character (no maps or nothing. maybe some bug fixes and tweaks but it wont change the game entirely). this is how star wars battlefront 2 almost failed at the begging of launch because they only did paid dlc. this game has no hope unless if they stop ignoring us.
I second this. Or at least give us the option to upgrade our standard editions. I know you can unlock the 87 helmet through loot boxes but I’d like the whole package.

But look at Battlefront 2 now!!! The potential is there for this game too, I personally am giving it 6 months before I start making any conclusions as to the state of the game and its future.

So it totally depends on me being able to find 4 other people who still play? There’s no solo mode or anything like that? It’s just I’m a huge fan of Jason Bothers and Friday 13th (some of the film’s are terrible, I know but the ‘concept’ and character designs are amazing), and if I could play against AI I’d find alot of enjoyment still…
yea im saying if they keep doing paid dlc they wont be a good futer for this game. i have the tiniest hope for it but ill give 6 months to redeem it self

🤣🤣🤣 seriously?? How can you be fully invisible in the trees when you disturb the leaves and they fall? You want them to remove the leaves from the trees too, and the birds because it gives away your general location?? You ARE COMPLETELY INVISIBLE if you stay still for 2 seconds. You can stand on a branch, activate stealth, disappear in 2 secs and use your camera to look around you all the whole being totally undetectable to Fireteam. The only thing that would give you away is your eyes glowing when you toggle your vision, but your have to have damn good eyesight as a Fireteam member to notice that amongst all the other chaos going on around us.
You know you can find where the reinforcement radio is, lay a beartrap and camp on it until they respawn and then kill them all straight away?
Basically this translates as “I don’t want to have to develop skills as a Predator player, I expect to be able to win with ease no matter what level of skill the Fireteam have, take away all their toys so I can win!”
Tell you what, I’ll meet you half way. I’ll give up the reinforcement ability, melee ability, even medkits and revive ability if they force Predator players to play in First Person Perspective only, because the advantages that gives the Predator are endless. Sound fair?
Most of the guys playing Fireteam have been playing FPS games like Call Of Duty for many years and know this format well. Just because the game is fresh, doesn’t mean everyone playing are noob level. I’m used to playing 3rd Person Perspective, this is the first time I’ve played a FPS shooter and it took days to get used to and I’m still struggling with it. Playing as Predator would feel more natural to me, but I won’t be doing that until I’ve at least put in a few days practicing in a solo game, especially knowing how good some of the guys playing Fireteam are.
My point is, you need to learn to make the most out of the tools, weapons, perks and mechanics that the game provides. I don’t want this game to be easy. I want to be scared everytime I am a Fireteam member. When I do play as Predator, I want it to be a tough fight. I want to be challenged, and challenged hard. If I wanted an easy game I’d go and play Fortnite.
